Day 61
My biggest, baddest girl, Butch, seems to be showing signs of PH fluctuation on SOME of the leaves. I have systematically raised the PH in increments, so this may be resultant of this tweek. I may make the slight adjustment back to the high 5's just for Butch. But this could be other issues as well, namely, Cal/Mag. Since we're so close to harvest, I'm not doing anything drastic. So far, I bumped the cal/mag a touch. Watching closely. My other big girl, Aggie, is a tough 'lil bitch, and can handle whatever I throw at her. Her leaves are a deep, rich green, like a healthy gardenia, tricomes increasing at a rapid rate and will probably outproduce the much larger Butch. BTW, Butch was my Ma's nickname when she was a barmaid in south Chicago in the 30's and 40's. The BIGGEST surprise of this, my first grow, is the mutant. Several citizens advised me to destroy her. I chose, however, to unceremoniously jam her in to a corner for observation. She's under 12" tall, all cola, and glistening. Named Cheryl, she'll be the first to harvest, which will be nice, because she's small and I've never done this before. Drying, curing, trimming a small plant hopefully will prepare me for the other 3 major producers. Unmentioned, heretofore, is Dani, RDWC experiment. I've absolutely beaten the shit out of her! she's 'tied off' in a corner. She simply got TOO BIG for the tent. I feed her leftovers, drip her 15 of the 24 hour day, smoosh her into her corner, constrict her width with grow wires...and still...she'll be the last to harvest, but I have a funny feeling she's gonna yeild as much as the other 3 combined.
Mixed my 'super-soil' today. Can't wait to do a 'Pop' style grow totally organic. I need to grow two more sets of arms.
