Yeah, I was also thinking Nitrogen the first time. But it had gone that long. Give it a dose and see. Just keep it light, or as light as you have been, as see how she goes.

Seems to be going OK -- darkening up a bit with a dose of high nitrogen nutes.

Buds are just starting to get fat. Love watching this develop from day to day.

Question:

Can I just use standard Brer Rabbit cooking molasses for dosing -- or does it NEED to be blackstrap? Can't find it locally. From what I Wiki'd, it looks like cooking molasses is actually watered-down blackstrap. Is that right?

Thanx!

hello auto-p, welcome to afn. you might want to find muddy out here and get him to move your thread to the new growers forum, so that it will get the attention from the experts out here. also the blue spectrum is fine for vegging, but without some red spectrum your buds may not grow as large:D

I'm quite interested to see if the budding goes fine with blue light.

There is some red in the spectrum due to the wide-band white LEDs --

I think total PAR probably has more to do with bud density -- but it will certainly be interesting to see how it all turns out.

Thanx!

The thing is - - I'm not sure if it's really a myth -- the nutes in molasses are:

i use molasses derived from beets its pure sugars has a npk rating 8-0-0, along with other stuff. something you might want to look into is sea salt, it has upwards of 90 micronutrients all good for cannabis

I'd be worried with sea salt about getting too much chloride. :stir::stir:
