Grow Mediums First Grow - Emily's Garden DWC / Mars Hydro 144x3 LED

Just fed them, 259 ppm / 0.37 ec. Hand watered around the outer edges of each planter also, I'm too scared to goto .4 - .6 ec lol

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgSo the healthiest one is starting to get tip burn, and the other two still are yellow... Good sign is that the worst one is growing albeit yellow.. Ec is .4 (315tds)

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgJust an update, got the solution to 1.1ec tonight, also 2 of the 3 new beans sprouted and one of them is growing very fast, the other not as fast but both look very lush and green. I've done what you said and started hand watering the hydroton with 0.4ec from day 1 and every two days mix half a cup of the 0.4 ec water jug with half of my main res nute solution and am slowly acclimating it to be equal that of the main res. other older plants are slowly turning green, still lots of yellow and not very fast growth. Also just lowered the lights a few inches.

so out of my 7 pack of seeds only 5 popped.. Not very good ratio from royal queen

Just thought I'd chime in,

I have the Marshydro 600w reflector and my plants looked like yours do and I blamed the light because I also grew a northern lights auto in dwc under a different light and it was totally fine. But I put it under the marshydro and it started to die off on the edges on the top leaves. So I got her out quick and under my old led and she has grown fine in there now... So that made me blame the light, but maybe we are just not feeding enough under that powerful light! I'll try and get pics of what mine look like and get them up here for all to see. I have actually started using CFLs to grow them because I am afraid of the light.

New pics. Newer plants look healthier, although only 1 is growing fast. I pulled one of the old ones and tossed it, wasn't growing just getting crispy and yellow

also am I burning them? Notice the crispy tips on some of the leaves.. Ec 1.8 currently after a fresh water change, ph steady at 6

Noticed this brown dots on the ends of the emerged roots on the bigger plant, is it root rot?

the bigger (and newer) plant is the only
one to hAve roots come through the bottom of the pot

Have you checked your ph level bro and I would think that is root rot i do not grow dwc but i do believe you need to keep your nutes at a certain temp that is why they use chillers in there nute bucket and lots of air to the root ball.
