Nah it's not bad. The perfectionist in me doesn't really want any swings but I can't control my temperature to such a fine degree that I can humidity unfortunately.
Remember you do want night time temps ~ 10°F lower than daytime temps. You really do not know how well your controllers are doing without monitoring. Look into the Pulse Labs Nano. I am testing it here for AFN. I love it!

I do 24/0 so I didn't think it mattered. I have a WiFi cam(plan to get more) pointed at my grow and the Hygrometer. I'm going to check that thread out thanks.

This is the kind of data you get with a Nano available anywhere in the world on the internet:

Day 7: Fugue State broke through already (it's at Day 2). Others are starting to grow faster. Turning on the bloom light really helped, I think. We now have four seedlings in four pots. Nutrient dosage goes up tomorrow with the exception of the new FuSt which I will dilute a bit. I just had to order a humidifier after I woke up to temp at 80f and humidity at 33%... All the rags and bowls aren't helping much.

Are you running an extraction fan? I turn mine off and soak a bath towel in hot water, ring it out, then wrap it on a tent pole. One towel in a 4x4 gets me around 30-40% higher depending on how wet I get it.

Yep, 6" exhaust fan is running at 6w (barely at all, in other words), but is essential for keeping temps below 86 or 88f (even though ambient room temp is only 72f). The fan is far more efficient at sucking out humidity than it is temperature. At full blast, though, the tent gets down to 68f. I think if I occasionally killed the fan just to get humidity up, all the added moisture would be sucked out long before temps got back down to 78f.

My exhaust fan is just strong enough to pull the odor and humidity lol. I run an AC outside the tent that cools the room to 62f but the inside runs 82-86 and I try to keep the humidity around 75% but it goes between 71-81%. I just ordered the ink bird humidity controller today because I was watching through the camera that when they feed they push by humidity up to low to mid 80's and it's right when my temps are at their lowest for some reason.

Cold air holds less water as a function of the density. Cold air is more dense. This makes relative humidity go up, the ratio of water to air.
