I would actually advise against moving the plant to the center. Not only will you disrupt the roots which is a big no-no, but you will actually have the plant in the perfect position to LST to the other side. I saw a grow where they intentially planted on one side of a fabric pot for this reason only.
When you have a plant in the center of a pot you can LST in a spiral out.

Hmm that's interesting... I think after maybe 10 or 12 days once roots have been established I'll still be able to safely scoop up in both hands more than enough coco to avoid disturbing the roots, right? I could see LST compensating for the off-center placement, but at the same time, my insistence on not risking topping my very first plants may make it harder to distribute the growth evenly when off-center because it'll still have apical dominance. Opinions?

You could just leave it alone lol. I think Manogreen has the right idea.

I think he was actually suggesting it would be better to have it in the center, though. Believe me though, I will defer to him and do as he says. :p

I know I would just be hesitant to move an auto once it had already established itself unless I was going to tier transplant.

Since it's in the same pot, I think I could set up a sort of landslide where everything stays in place and just slides toward the center. I would remove much of the coco from the middle of the pot and slide it from the outer rim toward the center ~4 inches. Just a matter of when the ideal time would be, and if it's worth it. I don't know how many days it could take to recover from the disturbance, if any (if done delicately enough)... It sounds pretty low stress...

Don't F@#$ with the roots in soil or coco. DWC sometimes it becomes necessary.

Ok, I'll just leave it alone then.

Good decision. exidious! Listen to Man o Green! Believe me, you will have some challenges as a new grower, no need to add to them! There is absolutely no need to move the plant to the middle, as the roots will find the open space. I have learned to exercise patience and less is more.

I'll certainly continue to listen to all the expert input I am so fortunate to have.
