Grow Mediums First DWC

I've always used large totes and 5" baskets allowing enough room to have an extra 5" hole for access to the solution for testing, topping off and chiller hoses. I just went 8 weeks w/o a rez change as pH and ppm had been stable up to that point. I'm 3 days into the fresh solution and still trying to find that sweet spot for nute strength.

Thanks, great reading these. Just think it's relevant to add on these points some great advice I was given:
* I usually went several weeks in veg without changing water. They just don't drink that much until they are big. If PH is stable and everything looks and smells good. I would make a reservoir for topoffs.
* Run either beneficial bacteria or sterile.
* I didn't change solution on a schedule, it was more of a feel thing. If PH starts acting funny, or it becomes hard to get stable EC, or something smells a bit off, or something just isn't behaving like it should. ...
An important decision in DWC is to chill water or go sterile. Sterile means you will have to harm your beneficial bacteria.
So you either clean/rinse reservoir weekly with agricultural hydrogen peroxide mix or keep reservoir at 19-21 celsius.
