Day 18 ! Up Up and away !

So today's day 18 in veg and she's really coming along nicely if i do say so myself. I've done a res change today and decided to keep her at the same EC and nute sched as the week before (1.3 Ec) starting E.C 0.5.. just because she seemed happy and had only dropped down to 1.2 over the course of a week. Here's a few pics I taken today.

She's getting there bro. Added my scrog yesterday and shes just about touching it now

She really has huge fan leaves, the biggest of any of my grows so far lol Shame she's being a picky with her feed lol

So its day 28 today.. Pics from yesterday. Things have gone a little downhill over the last week or so but nothing to drastic. I'm putting it down to two things. number 1 is me being a noob hydro grower lol and no.2 is that I think I have a really sensitive girl.

About three days after my last update and res change the EC had stayed the same which to me would indicate that she is drinking equal amounts of water and nutes? also she was drinking around a liter a day, however the tips of the leaves had started to droop and show signs of over fert so i added three liters of plain water and got the EC down to around 1.0. So i waited until my next res change which was saturday and left her with plain water for 24 hours before I added nutes which was a bad idea because the fan leaves started yellowing (shown in pics) Is this mag def or nitrogen def? when i added nutes on sunday i gave her 15ml each of grow a+b, 6ml cal mg and 3ml of liquid silicon which is less than i gave before yet the EC is higher lol? EC 1.4 starting EC 0.5. PH 5.8 and res temps have stayed a steady 19 degrees. I'm a little dis heartened but I'm sure she will pull through.

Okay think I've figured out what the yellowing is and it me being a dummy! I've just thought I'd have a sneak look at how she was doing today while the lights were off and I was shocked to see the yellowing looked worse and the leaves are now curling up rather than down. And now thinking about it when I've been checking on my roots, which are lovely and white, I've been lifting the plant up close to the lights even briefly touching them. Not only that I've not been lifting the lights up as she's been growing and they were only 12" away. What an idiot I am another learning lesson to add to the list!

Hey Lewb she is looking grand. Minor over fert signs but no major burns. Hopefully as you said keeping the light up a bit might make things look better. Looking forward to your next update man.
