First DWC problems

*Update*
Hello all, quick update.

Began the week with a res change with MC 2 part at 4.75 g part A and 8.25 g part B in 5 gal RO. The rust spots disappeared on the new growth and everything looked much better till about mid week when my ph started dropping. Went from 5.9 to 5.4 in 24 hrs. That i can handle, but by res change day on Saturday it would dive by that much in just a couple of hours and my girl was looking pretty stressed.
This weeks schedule (day 24) calls for 7.75 g part A&B. Changed the res and added neuts and hydroguard. My girl is looking much better but the ph has already started slowly dropping.
Any way to buffer this a bit better or is this just the nature of the beast? 20210404_184933.jpg20210404_184947.jpg

Sometimes a larger resevoir helps to an extent. But I also think its the nature of the beast. I just shelled out $450 for the blue lab doser controller to handle it but it really pisses me off to spend that much.

I can't justify that much for my one or two plants but it sure would be nice! I have found that by adding some tap water to the RO the ph doesn't seem to dive as much. At least for now anyway.

Update....

Day 42...
This past week I was running 11.5g part A and 8.5g part B. She's been drinking about a gallon a day and started looking a bit limey so added 1g Epson salt per five gallons for the sulfer. Res change tomorrow will be bumping up the part A to 13g and lowering the part B to 7.5.

She finally showed sex today, seems like it took forever. I'm amazed at how much she's bushed out in the past two weeks.

Thanks! She's just starting to flower so I have my fingers crossed!

This thread started as a legit infirmary question but has almost turned into a journal with all the updates. I really hope it doesn't turn back into a infirmary question. :smoking:
