The taproot senses gravity, and it will curl back down hooking itself into the rock wool and then it will pull itself up above the ground. Just don't try to mess with it either way, because more harm will come from that. You should be alright. It would probably be a good idea to keep it out of the light though for the time being.

That would probably be the best option. I know that roots really do not like the light, and the plants should be able to sprout in the darkness perfectly fine. My only concern would be the lights fucking up the taproot before it got settled in. Maybe, if you wanted, you could just rip off a little chunk of the rockwool and put it ontop of the root so it isnt getting hit with direct light, at the very least.

so It's been two days since I turned the lights off and she's still not hooking and it's kinda worrying me but maybe I'm just being a lot more cautious since this is my first rockwool grow. Here's a couple pictures I just tookDSC05370.jpgDSC05371.jpg

Oooo yummy, Pineapple Kush.... I've just dropped some Pineapple Chunk seeds in to germ but, man, Pineapple Kush sounds heavenly :)

Best of luck there dude, I'll keep my eye out for you.

:smokebuds:

yeah man I'm not 100% sure on the strain because it's a bag seed but we'll see!

She's starting to look good. I watered her this morning with a gallon of ro water in a bowl. I put 1/4 teaspoon stealth grow and my ph is 5.8 and ppm is 388 temp of water is 24 degrees. I dipped 3/4 of the rockwool cube in the solution just long enough to soak it up. Please tell me what y'all think and any help is appreciated! Here's some picsIMG_0003.jpgIMG_0001.jpgIMG_0004.jpg The little nursery leaves have been like that since she sprouted but I'm not too worried since the new growth is nice and green.
