I my humidifiers greatly help with the heat acting like a swamp cooler and removing the need for fans inside the tent. You might be able to stick a small one in there near the 3g pots. Don't get the 'ultrasonic' ones. They suck and dirty up really fast if you don't use RO/distilled water. I started out with a cheap one from target.

thanks 'foo' I was gone all day and so far the 2 fans are keeping it right around 80f. My wife will have a cow if I spend any more $$ on grow stuff right now. I'll have to wait and use another excuse for why we need a humidfier.

Here's some pic's from this afternoon. All the girls are about 2 inches tall. the three on the back row are the big devil,The plant in the middle on the right is a Northern Lights that I started a couple of weeks ago for a mother plant, the .

Time to go smoke a bowl

Well if you get one that says 'whole house' then you can just tell her your sinuses are out of whack then just nudge it into the grow area :) Looking good and healthy! My BD's have just started to take off and will prob double the size of my ABA and CC that for the longest time ~ the same size. This is going to be one fun strain to grow bro

Everything is going fine right now. The seedlings continue to grow nicely. All have formed their 1st set of primary leaves. We switched to 18/6 yesterday so now it's stand back and watch em go!.

Looks like you've got yourself a nice little setup. I'm not crazy about the Miracle Grow soil, especially if it has slow release nutes. I've seen many issues trying to grow autos in it. Hopefully since you have it mixed with the others you'll be able to get by with it for this grow. Also, you may find that 5 gallon pots are a bit of overkill for most autos. Three gallon are usually big enough unless it's a particularly large strain.

Of the three you are growing I've grown the Onyx. Beautiful plant that can be a big producer. Nice sativa dominant high.

What nutrients are you planning on using?

I've been using this soil mix with a number of photo period grows without any problems. Hopefully I won't have any issues with the MG in an Autoflowergrow.

I actually chose the 5 gal pots for 2 reasons. One was to experiment and see which gave a better yield, 5 gal or 3 gal. The other reason is all my other 2 and 3 gal pots are tied up with another grow and a winter indoor veggie garden. I didn't want to wait until we went to town to get more pots before planted the seeds for this grow.

I'm going to be very light on the nutes until the plants tell me if they need more.
I'll use Root Organics Buddha Grow for vegging then switch to Root Organics HPK for flowering.

Sounds good. I haven't found Onyx to be overly nute sensitive. Generally speaking, most of us start 1/4 strength nutes around week 2 or 2.5 and slowly increase the strength. Continue those until vertical growth slows or stops, usually around week 6, then switch to the flowering nutes. Even though autos sex around week 3, there is 3 weeks of pre flower before full flowering starts. I've seen many people switch to flowering nutes as soon as they see pre flowers and only end up stunting their plants.

002.jpgThanks for the info Muddy, I can see where it would be easy to start nute too early.

Here's the girls at day six above ground001.jpgThe plant on the right is going to be a photosensitive NL mother. The two little girls in the bottom right are some weird Durbin Poison clones that I stuck in the dirt after manicuring the plant. They were just starting to flower when I pruned them. Well somehow they rooted, grew a couple of real tiny buds and now I'm trying to seee if they'll re-veg. I didn't have the heart to discard them.

Here's the kids this morning. We are at ten days since sprouting and everything is going well so far. the Northern Lights on the right is starting to preflower at 35 days old. She's a photo plant that's going to be a momma. I'm not sure what the 'Three Stooges' are (the pot with the three freaks in the bottom right pot) either Durban Poison or White Widow. They are alive but they act almost dormant. we'll see what happens.

Hey man, that is a kick-ass setup you have!!!! Are those some maters I see in the back of your room in the first pics?

I'm along for the ride brother :pop:
