that plant is looking mint my friend :)

Day 11 Update, pics and a video

Plants seem to be thriving, however leaf curl continues... RH a concern? Had been hovering a bit on low side, about 30-38RH, kicked temp up closer to 78F or so and watered for 2nd time (trying to be careful with big pots, lil plants). RH seems to be hanging around 55 or.

Thoughts?

Gave a quarter of grow feed to this watering, lil spots on leaves here and there.

Day 14 Update

Looking good so far, no real concerns except that I only watered 4-5 days ago, and they are getting thirsty faster nearing the 2 week mark, I guess that's typical.

Also, I noticed a couple of roots poking thru bottom of container? At 2 weeks... kinda weird or no? Used Great White Mycos at half or so dose, is that a good sign or pretty normal?

Day 19 Update

So far so good, would seem maybe the 2 plants in back (Heavy 1 and 2) don't get as much of the LED... look spacy a bit. Maybe the 100x3 Apollo LED isn't quite strong enough? Little curl/heat stress looks like as well on those too plants as the HPS (supplement light / for now for heat) may have been a little too close (only 150 Watt, but only about 24" away), pulling up just a few inches.

I *was* also having a bit of trouble as the plants are getting bigger. Would seem that as most of the light is LED, with the cool temps, the TEMP was staying OK, but I'd find the humidity above 65% in the AM, when temps were coolest (72 or so). I added an AIR-1 Humdity/Temp control to activate fan if either Temp or RH goes up. If I couldn't control it with fan, I guess a heater or De-Humid would be needed depending on season. So far so good.

I'm going to switch to 18/6 today/tomorrow.

As I'm wondering if my Light purchase(s) were a bit rushed/not thought out well... I'm wondering about making a change, as I don't want to have wasted time/energy in what MAY be due to lack of light power. I realize that going forward the HPS that's really not helpful now may give them a kick, but if all 5 plants remain and don't turn into hermies etc, I'm going to have a FULL TENT and need some light!!!!

I'd thought of pulling the Apollo LED and looked at Mars and Platinum LED's (Leaning towards Platinum 450) to give them a boost during flower.Any input on lighting would be helpful, as I kind of wonder if I made a mistake not going with 600w Dimmable MH/HPS ???? Probably just second guessing myself:cool:

Sweet bro. I'm 19 days behind you with 3 Fast and Vast too! It's my first time growing this strain so I can't wait to see what happens with them!

So far yours are looking great man! They seem to be reight on for how autos grow, so don't stress too much about them. As far as your lights, I don't worry about "light" stress so much as "heat" stress. Especially with CFL or LED grows, you can get them pretty darn close without giving them too much light! It is possible to provide too much light, but much more likely to cause heat stress than too much light. If the leaves are turning a pale white color, you would know its stressing from light. But too close to the heat source is what will hurt them the most. So there is a balance here.

What I'm saying is don't be afraid to move them closer. Here's how I do it: I adjust my lights not to a certain height, but to a temperature. I move my plants closer to the light if I want to increase their temp, and I lower them if I want to decrease the temp. I keep my thermometer at the level of the highest plant so I know what temp they are feeling at the moment, and adjust that to get them to rest as as close to 80* as possible. If I were you I would try to position them close enough to the lights to get your temp closer to 80*. Through personal experience this technique seems to work best for keeping them from stretching too much and provides the perfect temperature without burning them or giving them too much light. It seems to be a perfect balance.

Good luck, I'm subb'in in!

BTW, what size of pots are you growing in?

Thanks for the look Bubble! I'm in 3 gal pots.

I'll keep updating this one til the end, and may rotate in a couple more as well...
