OK so here we go AF peeps, I’m am just about ready (very soon) to begin my 1st auto grow. Now I know my setup is not the most top notch ideal setup but I feel it’s good enough to have to some very good crop for personal use. I will gradually improve my setup after I get this first trial run done and begin “perfecting” things. So this is what I what I have prepared for this grow.

1) (1) 250w 2700k CFL, (4) 85w 3200k CFL
2) 34”x34” grow space (flat white paint)
3) Purple Ryder seeds
4) Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil
5) 3 gallon pots
6) Sea Grow by Grow More 4-26-26 nutes (people rave about this stuff)
7) 3 piece PC fan assembly (from old server rack), oscillating tower fan
8) Soil and liquid PH tester
9) Temp and humidity gauge

Like I said I plan to gradually improve my setup. A few questions…What is the ideal temp and humidity? Ideal soil PH? When to start Nutes and how often to feed? My first (only) grow with photo plants I watered whenever the leaves began to droop (feared over watering). How often should I water autos?

Looks loke you have everyyhing ready. We all started like you are.Grow and learn, and have fun.

You need to have full spectrum light! Autos base strain Ruderallis, is a Nordic clime plant. It does see high noon light in its growth cycle. Their short growing time is due to the fact that they sometimes only get like 6-7 months of daylight 20-24 hours a day... You need to have some and i say some, like 50% 6500K light or you will probably not appreciate the full potential of your purple ryder. If you are waiting for your leaves to droop you are waiting to long between watering cycles.

Are you saying I should 6500k bulbs throughout the entire grow?

its quite beneficial to have multiple spectrums of light throughout the plants life, it would also help alot for the short vegetative stage of the plant
