Mephisto Genetics First Auto Grow - Mephisto Double Grape in soil with GBD SS mix

Day 50 (5).JPG
Day 50 - she is still continuing to stretch high and wide. This morning she is 24" high and 30" wide. There appears to be 18-22 buds at the top of her canopy. I am leaf tucking multiple times a day. She was fed twice since I last posted about her. The previous one at day 46 was 40 ounces of ph'ed (6.5) purified water. Yesterday she received 40 ounces of "doctored" Walmart Purified water. I made a feed with 1 liter of H2O, .8grams of recharge, .4ml of mammothP, 1 ml of CalMag, and ph'ed to ~6.5. The burned tips I saw about 3 weeks back are still there but the new leafs do not show any sign of burn. In fact, she looks really happy. She has somewhat outgrown my cabinet which is only 24" deep. I will be using only 3 gallon pots from here on out. Now onto the pictures...

Thanks @jelly0 , other then being longer then I expected and the early nute burn, she has been smooth sailing since. Looking forward to those budsites getting fatter by the day.

I feel you on the timing man, I have two bluetoofs going on at the moment and I have a feeling at least one of them is gonna go past 100 days. Our patience will be rewarded, but damn it's definitely ruining my timing lol :greenthumb::pass::growing:

Your baby's are looking pretty dam good. Your are going to have some frosty nugs in no time. I have four double grapes going right now also.

Day 55 - two feedings and a slight defoliation to open up lower budsites to light in the last 5 days. She is still growing tall as she is now a touch over 25". I didn't measure width as she has taken up way more then half of my 40" wide and 24" deep closet. The first feeding consisted of 40 ounces of a 1 Gallon jug of Walmart purified water with 2.5 grams of recharge, 1ml of MammothP, and 3ml of Calmag from GH. I forgot to ph the solution before I fed, and in the past before ph'ing this solution it usually read around 8.0 on the meter. So the 2nd feeding happened the next evening of 30 ounces of Walmart purified water ph'ed to 5.6 in order to help stabilize the ph from the higher feeding the day before. There is a bit of patchy yellowing on the leaves, but I think she will be ok from my F##k up. I also believe that because this plant is already at day 55 and just starting to flower, and might not finish until day 85 or later, some of the yellowing might be due to the soil running out of the GBD SS mix. I am going to try and find an organic fertilizer add that has a small amount of N, with higher P/K to help her finish off. I found a Bloom Booster with slight amount of N on Amazon called Flower Fuel 1-34-32, by Element. It has over 2 years of great reviews and is relatively cheap. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Now to the pictures...

Nice structure to her.

My first run with gbd's soil amendment was similar with the early yellowing, i chalked it up to not actually having a 50/50 mix. I filled my smart pots half way but should have added more to compensate for compaction. I seem to do that often.. i need to look into a good top dressing.

Thanks for sharing your grow.. i hope to have time for a proper journal here next fall when i start more auto's. Here's a DG nug i shot yesterday..

ahhhh, that's what I am talking about. Fine looking bud for sure. Gonna make a nice start to the summer treat. Tag me in when you get your next journal going. Thanks!

Day 61 - She has had 3 separate feeding the last 6 days as she is being watered every other day right now. On Day 57 I bought some Roots Organic Fertilizer (granular, you scratch it in to the top several inches of your soil then water it in.). Roots Organic Uprising Foundation which is 2-1-1 and Roots Organic Uprising Bloom which is 3-6-4. I used 1 teaspoon of Foundation and 2 teaspoons of Bloom scratched into the top couple inches of soil, then watered with 40 ounces of Walmart purified water ph'ed to 5.9. The following waterings were just Walmart purified water ph'ed to 5.9, Day 59 was 60 ounces and Day 61 was 60 ounces. Not sure if it stopped the yellowing as of yet since Organic Fertilizers takes 10-14 days to show effect. She has stopped stretching and now stands at 26" tall, a nice medium sized plant with good structure. She is starting to fill in her cola's a bit and she is starting to get a bit loud when she is jostled. Continuing to do leaf tucking multiple times a day, as well as rotating the plant to make sure every side is getting proper amount of exposure to the lights. Lights were lowered to 23" above dominant cola. Now the pictures....

Looks like the feeding, at the least, is keeping them from getting worse from what I can see. Good job Seymour!
