Hey squid you seen any other people growing northern lights that has harvested? I wanna check some grows out since I am also growing a Northern Lights.
Bikini--I have seen several. The biggest, so far, has been the Feb. photo of the month--N.W's Northern Lights. He has a smoke report and harvest photos etc.

squid im feelin ur styles brotha...niiiiice...cratehey what's up guys! Another newbie here, but i'm gonna try and make my thread a little different somehow. I'll get started plain and simple and thorough. Here's my setup:
-htg mylar tent 22"x36"x63" in a closet a few feet bigger on either side.
-htg 7 band 240 watt led panel( i plan on getting two small t5's on either side asap to add in)
-small fan for circulation inside
-passive intake through back flap
-out take through a cheap 6 inch fan pulling through one of the top ports
(this will eventually be changed to a proper inline fan with carbon filter)
-my soil is a professional bag of potting soil that i got from a local shop. It is the same soil that they use in their entire nursery. I also added some miraclegrow perlite, and yes it has some nutrients, very very low %.
-3 gallon smart pots
-shultz all purpose green liquid concentrate nutes(i plan on getting other nutes)
alright, just to test things out i planted three bag seeds of "mids". They've been doing fine although i did burn them pretty good with nutes too early. Not sure what i was thinking. I also have a bag seed plant of dank i got from a friend. It's doing great so far at 6 days only. The others are at 13 days.

I just put two northern lights that i germinated (using the paper towel method with straight distilled water that i buy from walmart) straight into the three gallon pots. I've read that it is better to grow from start to finish in the same pot as to not transplant and therefore reduce that shock induced to it during the transplant.
This is just the beginning. I am starting these sisters, stephanie and steffany, both being feminised, and making sure everything is definitely good to go and get a feel for things. I have spent countless hours reading threads and forums on anything and everything cannabis so i think i have a definite good start. If/when all goes as predicted i have one each of the following to grow too:
Cream caramel, afghan kush ryder, and big critical.
It took me weeks to narrow it down to these choices and i really hope they turn out good. The nls are a effin classic folks. Said to be one of the easier to grow for starters and not a real strong odor. The cc and akr are in the 20-22% thc and nearing 1.0 or over on the cbd scale. Killer, devastating high. I am reeeeaaallly looking forward to these ladies. And the bc is said to be a head knocker with high yield. So that's that i guess. No pics yet obviously. Hoping to update in a couple days when they break surface. Stay tuned cats!

Hey there guys, I don't really know what the hell that was about. Some dude I met that had a radio personality that totally just took the Squid character and ran with it. Oh well, I dig the jams either way. i think I will let him stick around when he feels like it
No pictures because I don't feel that they're needed again, yet. There is still some growth going down on the four ladies. Not a whole lot on the NL, but I am keeping her in the game just for the eff of it. When I watered, the runoff was still kinda low. I guess the slow release bs MG perlite lowers it every damn time. No worries, they aren't any worse and I will raise it up next watering and see how it goes.
I am still having to keep my tent open with a box fan blowing in for fresh air and to keep temps ok. Which are at about 80-83. I have heard that this should be ok as long as it isn't cooking the plants and is getting enough fresh air, which I believe it is.
My new 4 bulb Tek lamp seems to be working great
It is warmer than I thought but that should be squared away when I get my exhaust fan setup, which is soon I hope, gah. I know I keep saying that but it's always a matter of $$$. I hate it and I love it. Oh well...As soon as I get that setup, my next mission is to order my new batch of seeds.>>> Wiz's Durrrty Dragons!
As the baby Durty Durty's are going I will be saving for supplemental side T5s (HO no doubt). Much progress to be made my friends. I appreciate those of you that take the time to check out the slow yet definite progress, and to all of those that have helped and continue to help me along the way.

Hey friends. When I checked on the girls this morning they were looking a little worse, which blows. Not much more growth and yellowing almost all over. They are due for a watering when they wake up at four though, in which case I will raise my ph a little to pull the soils ph back up so that maybe I can actually get these girls going. Kinda disappointing that I picked them back up from a couple weeks ago and now this again. All around the three week mark looking like one week :cry:
I strongly dislike MG perlite it is screwing me over bad.
Yes, I know now that MG is crap now but I am just trying to get these girls back in action. I will post some pics up at some point tonight so you guys and gals can see the progress, or lack there of...Thanks
