New Grower Finally after 5 year of waiting, decided it's time for a new Grow.

No it's different, was thinking about the water the other day.
I have soft water here.
The last place had moderately soft. I think it was a bit harder when I grew there last.
The water now is half as soft as the last place.

Maybe the water has got something to do with it.
After 4years of growing, I've just bought a £60 portable RO system :doh:my water is reay hard and comes out the tap at 635ppm, good drinking water should be 250-400 max. I wouldn't be able to grow in Coco/Rockwool without it so have always favoured soil to help me out with EC/Ph. I think even with using Bio-Tabs if you start of with shit water everything else has to work so much harder to compensate.

I would definitely think about getting one, at least that way you can take out any potential water problems from future grows and no scale etc, contaminants from the humidifier.

Well folks, she looks like shit.
She looks like she is foxtailling too, even though the temperatures have got cooler, maybe I'll have to turn down he lights a bit.

I'm lost why every grow turns to shit in this house. I thought I got the environment right this time with more fresh air circulating and exhausting into another part of the house.
Tempted to pull the plug on this one and maybe try again. Not sure what I can do differently though.

Anyway here's some pics.

I would say it was ready if it's on day 79. If I get any plant with this from any strain I chop it around day 70.
This is a heavy leaning DEADITE kush pheno. A rare one so far .
Don't be hard on yourself mate it's still going to smack you're face when smoked lol

I grow in soft tap water with a 0.3 ec so no problems there I think it may be strain to strain different from each one as I bet if you grew that one in the bath again it would turn out very similar
Thanks St Tom, you've put my mind at ease about the water, was checking for a portable RO system :crying:

Regardless of your waters ppm/ec an RO system will also get rid of chlorine and chloramine! Main reason i use RO water is my city uses chloramine and at times i turn on shower and i can straight up smell that shit at first so def don’t wanna feed it to the plants! And i am too lazy to be treating water with ascorbic acid before using!

If you have an EC and pH pen, that will tell you a decent amount about your water.

I also invested in a small RO system. Helped a lot in chasing down issues.

edit: You will need a separate filter for chloramines withan RO system. They are typically KDF85 cartridges.

Pretty sure as long as it has a carbon cartridge that is still good that takes care of chloramines they don’t last very long 3-6 months

That looks more like reveg type growth but not foxtails! Those grow directly on top of one another so it would have big tall tower looking growths on the buds! Could be lil too warm or lil too much light! Also remember if top buds look done but bottom of plants clearly not finished u can always do a staggered harvest! I do it quite often if its a taller plant cuz usually isn’t totally ready all at same time!
