Well.. got the tent setup now, tube heater on, yesterdays watered pots (forgot to ph ) on the heat mat set to 26.6c and the Mars Hydro TS1000 set to 24 inches as per Mars Hydro instructions.
I do have a par meter which I will be using later, just want to get everything up and running first.
Will plant seeds tomorrow after everything has settled down and I can roughly see what temperature the tent is at.

Got a couple of questions, are tube heaters safe to run 24 hours, 7 days a week?
And is it ok to stick sticky traps on the tent walls instead of in the plant pots?

I suggest putting some directly on or near the soil, as well as on the floor.
When I had a F. gnats invasion I saw some of them crawling and running on the floor
They put eggs on the top of soil, so it's a good place to install sticky trap too imo.

Ah sticky traps, love hate relationship there lol. It's good to keep them near the soil, but I got tired of ripping off chunks of leaves that get stuck to them so i put them on the wall now. That and they were killing all my helpful predatory mites...Since i started watering with mosquito dunks I've not had any flying bugs on them anyway.

I solved this by stripping off only one face of the trap (mine are double-sided)... only to learn about mosquito dunks, around the end of my grow lol
