Are feminized seeds a good choice for autos or regular?

Depends this is the way i look at it Fem seeds- One good thing is yes you know they are gonna be all girls BUT they can hermie under stress you cant IBL and you run risk having to buy seeds evry 3 months Regular seeds they dont herm you can make your own seed stock or your own crosses plus they are usually alot cheaper yea you dnt get those crazy named strains but if you look at the genetics there some regular strains that give you what you want really up to your preference and situation hope this helps you out

In Bred Line- Taking the same generation of one strain and crossing them to make your own you could make about 100-200 seeds with just the lower popcorn bud sites just going off of dr.autoflowers guide on youtube he deleted them but oh well was nice while it lasted

so if i had a unknown seed which was male? i could IBL it with my autoflower female to make more seeds? would the seeds i make still be an autoflower?

Technically yes, but you would be disappointed with the result most likely, and you can't continue the breeding program past F1 or maybe F2 with good stable and viable seed... if you cross male and a femmed bean the genetics will no longer be 100% female or autoflower unless both parents are properly selected, and the gene pool gets watered down and you start seeing really weird looking plants. It seems like most femmed beans I've gotten (usually freebies) have almost all been a mutant in some way (not always bad) and to make any seeds with them seems pointless cause you're starting with unstable genetics, and it only gets worse...

lol i said one strain how many you talkin lol two? you might get an auto from them seeds but most likely not what you would have to do to get auto seeds is take an auto male and pollenate an auto female with that pollen or spend 2+ yrs growing and back crossing seeds from an unknown male

This is just me... If I didn't have to sweat customs, and I could get the strains I want at their current price points, I would buy feminized auto seeds, put 'em in 3 or 5 gal pots and let 'em rip.

But, I can't, so I usually buy regular seeds and make enough of that strain to last. It's also kinda neat to be able to hone in on one particular pheno. Making 100 beans doesn't take much... you can accidentally make 1000, if you're not careful. (don't ask me how I know that... LOL)
