New Grower fellow pothead needs help.

Wassup my hello growers I'm about to start my garden of weeden and I want tha most out of my lil babies. I've grown autos before and always went straight to my 3 gallon pots and let them grow. Id like to here how techniques of growing such as sog, lst, scrog, etc, affected your autoflowers. I understand the concept of each one but is one method better than the other? I'm going to grow " think different" in some 3 gallon pots with OF. Hit me with some weed knowledge!!

SOG and SCROG can work if you have single cola phenotypes with little side branching. TD is a very bushy plant and probably wouldn't lend itself well to either. LST can be useful to control the height of the plant but really hasn't shown the increase in production that it does on photo plants. If you have enough room in your grow area it can be helpful to tie off some of the side branches and pull them away from the main stem a bit. This will help to get more light to those branches. Here's a picture of a couple plants I used this technique on.

Nice that seems simple enough. Has this worked good for u? Because I'm sure I have the space to pull the side branches down as u have done in the picture.

Yes, it works well. I mostly use it outdoors where I've got unlimited room. Indoors my space is too small to allow me to do it.

I have a Mi5 that is being LSTed. I posted some pics. I even tied down the main top. She is in a PC case, was gonna put her in my other box, but just gonna leave the AKR in there to have all the room. The Mi5 will be starting week 5 tomorrow. good luck and happy growing

Goodluck in your grow, TD is quite popular atm some I'm sure its a winner. I agree with Muddy on, size of space = style of grow... If that's not what he was saying, I'm calling DIBS
! Have tried LSTing and it's a easy-ish gradular system.

Yeah man I think all the treads I've read with you involved have either been before my time here or, just a topic I had nothing to add, knowledge wise. Been here a Little longer now and Most people know I'm not too serious so had joined in on the monkeying around and talking shizz(?)
Would never hate on Muddy or the way he does his thing.
