Indoor Feenix Grows

BayLee had to restrict the water to one of his Toofies ... perhaps its a desert phenotype ... :headbang:

When I read your list of soil ingredients I remember all the good stuff I forgot to add to my last batch ... I really need to start taking notes ...

Me too. My last three runs taught me a lot of what not to do with dirt. With airpots and all the holes water can find, just seeing a wet drip pan is not proof of run off through the bottom. I was sure that I had watered thoroughly but I just chopped the Grapefruit Punch and the bottom third of the pot was bone dry dust. I joked about roots being 1/4 inch from the good stuff and now find I wasn't wrong.

Day 7 and they all have added a third node over night,

No blade running these girls. No topping , or fimming. I'm in the same stand down mode that the military goes into after a series of accidents. Stood down and gone back to the basics by the book. Shopping Myco right now and that's a trip. Hard to distinguish between the good stuff and the hype. Like most things canna related the spread in price is unbelievable and price is no indication of quality. Back to the forum to read more on it.

Dude I love the roots organic stuff, its OregonismXL. If you go their website Aurora innovations. You can get a "sample" that will last a long time for the average grower for 6$ free shipping. Then you'll also get two bottled nutes for free, just fill out the questionnaire, its like 5 questions. It's a complete nute lineup for free almost lol.

Nice start good strains GOOD LUCK! How long did you compost your soil mix for?If I was you I would add some myco to help break down the compost..plants dont eat poop.

DA, I really want to thank you for not just throwing me a company or brand of Myco that I would buy, read the box and that would have been that. Now, after going into organics and finding the list of vids, especially Stamets who goes really deep but explains it so well, I know why to get it as well as how to get it and use it, at least at a noob level. I'm off to find worm castings.:toke:

That was too good to pass up. Thanks TK.
The only worm castings around here come 50lb bags. Only 7 dollars but what am I gonna do with a 40 pound bag in my garage that screams "We're growin ova here" . The only non supplemented in my area, the 2 cu. ft. bag of perlite that I may have used 1/10 of is bad enough. I was planning on growing my own Myco but all the other additions in the XL make that for the next run now that I'll have something real to seed it with.

Thanks for the tip. The timing was perfect as now I know how to use it.

Yesterday at day 10.
Toof Decay was looking like it was struggling with water issues but she wasn't getting over watered. The symptoms also looked like possible copper deficiency due to lock out. It seems solved by bottom watering, dipping 1/4 of the bottom of the pot in PH'd plain rain water at 6.8.

Not wanting to over water was the problem as the diving roots found nothing down below, once dipped, the plant came right back to the business of new growth.. All my graphics resources are committed to a video project for now so pics here will have to wait.

Day 16

White Train is the hardest charger so far with nice node spacing . There are a couple of cal def spots starting so I have dosed her with Cal/Mag 1 ml per liter. I also raised the light another 6 inches to 36 inches. The newest shoots were floppy and looking a bit stringy so I did it to be safe and am watching close to see if it needs to go higher,

Sour Crack is short and tight at this time but I expect some spacing when she starts her first spurt of stretch.

Toof Decay continues to be finicky about water and nute intake and like Sour, is short and tight in the extreme.
I think that without foliar feeding she would be in trouble but is holding her own with the daily spritz. I hope the Myco gets here soon.
