Feature Request

I noticed (and others have so I don't think I'm tripping) that blog entries don't seem to get as many views as forum posts. I think it's because clicking the mushrooms, then New Posts, doesn't show blog entries. Is this true?

If it is, I think a nice feature would be to show new blog entries with new posts. I like being able to record in a blog, because I'm keeping records for myself or reading records others have kept and comments don't matter as much in that context.

But it's also nice to know that more people have read my content so it's a catch-22 currently. I use New Posts most often, so I only see grow reports that others post in the forums-unless I remember to check blogs too.

So why is that?

Why do you all hate blogs so much? The idea behind it was to help build out a better journaling system for grows (versus letting it be a free-for-all.) We've gotten some mixed reviews on it since it's inception, but getting some actual feedback beyond "it sucks" would be beneficial for us to decide if we should keep it around or not.

We need to get a major update done to the forum in the next year or so, that would allow us to update a few of our current add-on's as well (including the blog software.) It's possible some updates have fixed some of the issues others have reported, or maybe it's the same ol' same ol'.
