Indoor Fastbuds Soomthie & Gelato-T7 (Only1Sky) - Light Grower of the Year 2019 Leg 2

@hope2grow -- yeh my mission was the same; get some high quality buds so my wife could skip the big $$$ at the medical dispensaries. My problem is .... the mission succeeded but quickly turned into a hobby which then turned into an obsession. Worse things could happen I guess.

I've had some great success with the AN and GreenPlanet products, and will be using them in my AutoPot reservoir this grow cycle. But these Fastbuds gals will be in RainScience Grow Bags and will get fed from the GreenLeaf line-up (MegaCrop, Sweet Candy, Bud Explosion and Algae/Kelp Extract).

Growth has been sufficiently vigorous on both the T7 and Smoothie that I decided to top them today, their day 16. Here's a before & after pic of each.

Day 22 and all is well. They are each about 7" tall, and seem happy with the topping that they got at day 16. Today they got a nice foliar misting with SM-90. A few days ago I activated the COB portion of the Amare light, so they're getting a nice strong dose of sunshine. May start a little LST later this week.

A few fungus gnats bugging me, but I'm fighting back -- at the moment with Bacillus thuringiensis v. israelensis

Day 29. The Smoothie and T7 are doing great, especially the T7. Bud sites are starting to set-up nicely; foliage remains healthy. Virtually no LST yet or other training so far. Two days ago they took a break from the MegaCrop program, and each got .75 ltr of ReCharge at double-strength with SLF-100. Now they're back on MegaCrop with Sweet Candy and Algae Extract -- and today we started adding in Bud Explosion. Haven't seen much from the fungus gnats of late, so maybe the Bacillus thuringiensis v. israelensis did a number on them. :smoking:

Here's the T7 at 11" height:

And here's Miss Smoothie at 10.5"

Day 37. The stretch is on, but Smoothie has overtaken T7. Smoothie is now 19" to T7's 16". But the flower development on T7 is more dense and robust. I love them both. They're now getting several hours a day from the UVB bulb on the Amare SE450 light. Still on same GreenLeaf MegaCrop program.

Day 40. Today, in lieu of their normal feed MegaCrop feed program, they each got .6 liter of double-strength ReCharge with SLF-100. Both gals doing extremely well.

As you recall, these two plants are competing the AFN Light Battle Leg 2, and today I have to choose one to be the final contestant for that show. Tough choice since both are fine, but I think I'll go with the Smoothie. Here she is from two angles:

But nothing too shabby about the T7. She's a winner in my book for sure. Have a look:

Day 49 and the smell is starting to please. T7 (on left) is 17" (43.2 cm) and Smoothie (on right) is 19" (48.2 cm). Now doing a little defoliating every couple of days. Other than that, they're just trucking along and having a fine time. Did a little re-distribution of plants in tents earlier this week, and now the Fastbuds are less crowded.

Here's two views of Smoothie, followed by two views of T7. :toke:
