I think it's now time that I do a smoke report for my first grow, the Grapefruit!
I am smoking the very last Grapefruit joint right now, so it's kind of a spiritual moment haha!
I thought it would be good to write the report while smoking the last joint, now that it's been properly cured
Alright, let's get it started!
SeedBank: Herbie's Autoflowering Seeds
Breeder: FastBuds Co
Strain: Grapefruit'o'matic
Did it autoflower?: Yes
Soil/hydro: Plagron Light Mix
Pot: 18L regular pot
Nutes: Advanced Nutrients (Ph Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A and B; Carboload, Voodoo Juice, Rhino Skin, Overdrive), Plant Magic (CalMag), Molasses.
Feeding Schedule: a mix of both of TaNg's auto schedules.
Light (kind and schedule): HPS 250 dual spectrum, 20/4.
From seed to harvest date: 78 days
Dry Yield: 50g
High/Effect Duration: Body High.
My tolerance being really high, I can't truly judge on the duration, but it'd say 2 hours.
RATE SCALE: 8.5/10
BAG APPEAL: 7/10 (it was my first grow, so it might be my fault!)
It's quite resinous!
THE GROWTH: 8/10
Easy to grow, although I ran into some N tox around week 3-4.
THE SMELL: 7.5/10
Her smell was okay, a little fruity, but nothing too obvious.
THE SMOKE: 8/10
The first thing that came to mind: It's so smooth!
THE HIGH: 8.5/10
It has a medicinal feel to it, probably caused by the Body High effect. The first time I smoked it, it gave me giggles
An enjoyable effect, that relaxes you, makes you feel happy, but does not make you feel particularly sleepy. It feels like a 60% Sativa 40% Indica hybrid.
THE TASTE: 8.5/10
Did take about a month cure before the taste got actually better. Now it tastes like fruit! I can even taste Grapefruit in there! It became more potent after the curing.
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Definitely!
She was a real treat for a first grow. Especially for 10 bucks the seed
