Yeah the cheap bulb came with the cheap hps setup. My plants get all stretched under them specs. I love the eye hortilux blue, seems like my main stalks, nodes, are all spaced better. Almost seems twice the growth rate under the blue also. $90 a bulb but i think its worth it.

I know they are 6 days apart but check the size difference in stalks. Cheap $15 bulb.
$90 blue spec bulb. 6 days apart.
both 400w same distance from top of plants.
not having any problems, i just be happier with blue bulbs all around.
Day 17 on the blue dream, this girl is lookin good. Seen a few gnats in the soil so dropped a lil silica. Thats the white specs on leaves and soil. No mildew or mold. Gonna take a close look at her today, should be time to top. Really impressed with her growth rate and germ rate also. 3 days from paper towel to breaking surface. Wish i had her under this light from the get go.
She was only getting rain water ppm 6 with 8ml voodoo tarantula piranha 5ml rhino skin and 5ml fish shit. I topped her yesterday and topped off the pot with roots organic and silica. Tomorrow will be first full drench rain water lil calmag to buffer. No grow nutes yet.

That's a crazy difference in growth. I was expecting some difference but this is like night vs day. Sometimes it does pay to buy a decent bulb
Keeping it simple and look how well it's working

Yep simple and fun. Im gonna germ a bubba kush in the morning and put her in here for a couple weeks and put her outside see how she does. Prolly run a autoseeds jucy lucy next to her. Do them 2 no till organic
