New Grower Experiment.

I have a small glass lizard tank.. lined it with reflective foil, it has a sunglo uv bulb and i a wonderig if the plant will grow under this bulb? But iv also seen cfl bulbs that will fit the socket. Maybe that would be a better option. Whats yor thoughs guys about the uv bulb?

They usually give off too much heat

Would probably "grow", but if you're asking if it'll grow well.....then thats a whole different ball game.

I understand so its not advisable.. im bet of just ordering a cfl bulf for it

I guess it could be interesting to test as a clone/seedling starter. Have at it, and let us know if we should get rid of our lizards for their possible prime real estate

Hahaha.. well i got a auto purple germinated 5days old, did have it under hps with 3 dp auto blueberrys but this past week theys grown so much so have to remove the purple, place it in a small pot 1.5 litre , and placed it i the tank with the 25w bulb on. Maybe ill leave it be a see what the outcome will be... will keep yous updated on progress.. happy days
