I finially got my "kiss corner" all set up the way I want it.

@robwars - my rrf finished from my last grow so I put in my blackstar up and will be running the flourowing with the blackstar untill around day 35ish then I will be just using the blackstar.

@devi8ed - I'm about to start a big breeding project (got myself a sponsor) and will be getting a ph pen for that.

Check out gothamhydroponics.com find one you like and email the company. They will give you a discount if you say a friend referred you. You should start a thread in the new growers forum everyone will help you with any questions you have.

I've been seeing more and more grows using the cat litter buckets. Fun idea! I might do it just for grins next time around.

@devi8ed - after seeing the root system on my last auto grow I figured I needed something pretty big to get the full potential from my plants. I had a few litter containers laying around and just figured I would try them. Also the point of this thread is to help people that are on a budget grow as simply as possible.

I love it. I use dollar store gallon buckets and 2.5 gallon mop buckets with a pencil sized hole drilled in the side and 100% perlite. I'm all for simple, cost effective methods.

Quick update Day 20

you can see how I have my lights set up in a previous post. I am not noticing them leaning more to either light. I feel like the balance of the blackstar uv and the flourescent light is a good combo and since I have them in the middle so they get hit by both lights evenly they are getting a wide variety of light spectrum and loving it

Day 24

I found male preflowers on the tallest one today. I'll keep it incase I only get one female so I can make pinkbud seeds.

I found female preflowers on the shorter one today and some female parts are forming on the male so its probably a hermi or I missidentified it.
