Last fall I used 816 kWh @ $218.13 in one month during a grow.
This is my new rate structure. I wonder what to expect now?

Damn Bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your price per kWh is insanely high!!! I had similar electric bills, even though my rate is just a fraction of what your paying(mine like 8cents kWh).... I use much-much more kWh over a month then you do, by like double.... I couldn't afford them rates you pay, holy damn!!!!:holymoly:

I came up with $288.36 at the new rate.
that's about how much i pay, even though my rate way less then yours(i just use much more power per month)

Holy shit! that's outrageous! what state? Fuck that. And I was complaing that my rate went up to about $0.188 per kwh! What a bunch of god damned thieves! I'd be buying some solar panels......... cheaper to run a freaking generator. And the rich get richer!

my entire home's bill per month averages $200.00 that includes 3 airconditioners and my growlights. My growroom consumes about $90.00 a month of that.

Switched to a swamp cooler (dry climate here) from 3 window A/C's and our electric bill dropped $100/month. Not sure if it would work in your climate, but man did that make a difference for us. Bought an oversized cooler, twice the square footage of my house, and runs on low on all day and I get so cold I have to put on a jacket when it's 105 F outside.

It's too humid here in SoCal coastal for an evap cooler. Fortunately we rarely need to run the A/C but lately we've needed it.

I want to figure out how to wire up solar panels to just run my house lights from (we run all LED bulbs in all fixtures, just thought it would be nice to always have light.)
I was gonna setup solar here, but I will wait till we move to Nevada... I haven't really seen what the laws are for solar there, but the grow laws are decent 6per person or max of 12 per house-hold
