Hello everyone and Merry Christmas ... I opened this thread because i plan to build a fixture with samsung lm301b strips and i am not sure wich will be the best choice. I m thinking of buying 20 pieces of 50cm 98x Samsung LM301B LEDs 3500k . The question is , what driver should i pick up for this pannel , and is it ok to build it with 20 pieces of lm301b stripes or shall i add some extra deep red and far red aswel ? I m planing to grow autoflower and i don t know if adding extra reds worth the money .... i am open for other suggestions , new ideas.

Thanks bro .... do u have any clue about far red deep red uv and ir ? Can they make huge difference in yield and bud quality ?

I don't know how conclusive it is but there is plenty of anecdote saying how it all works so well. I'm not willing to invest in any of yet until I start seeing conclusive data to support their benefits in cannabis

Got a link? I can't find it

I think you got a great deal in a way. That's a 5000k spectrum, not suitable for flowering compared to a 3000-3500k light. I wish I could tell you how well it might do but it is efficient and if it was me in your situation I would still use it.

It would be great for perpetual growing with another tent using 3500k. That light is at most 502 watts but it's running a 480w meanwell and only their hlg xxxH xxA type drivers run a bit stronger at max power.

I know that the addition of the UV, IR and deep red will make a difference.
