So, this is my third grow in this setup. I've got dinafem amnesia and critical jack in the left pots, buddha purple kush in the middle pots, and joint doctors diesel ryder in the right pots. I've grown the purp before and it was tasty and beautiful. We'll see how this grow goes. I'll be posting once a week with pictures and progress. Thanks for your feedback. This post is currently the end of week two and week three begins tomorrow.:pimp:

Nice grow goin on bro!I cant wait to get my 6.5X6.5X6.5 Tent. Thanks for sharing since ill be modeling my tent grow at the end of this season around what I learn here and from more in depth indoor growers.Nice grow.Happy Harvest my friend!:wiz:

Hey Hydro nice setup, swing by the intro section and let the folks know your here and a link to your journal.

TOKE OUT:smokebuds:

I just want to go ahead and throw some more specifics out there so that my grow is better understood by everybody.

Location: 4x4x6.5 Dark Jardin Tent
Lights: 400W MH for veg, 400W HPS for flower
Vent: Air cooled hood using a 6'' 200 cfm fan, when the smell kicks in- another duct opened and connected to a 4'' 160 cfm fan and a 4'' carbon filter
Co2: A bag of Exhale, greatest ever!
Hydro: 3x3 flood table, 40 gal res. with 2 4 in. air stones
Nutes: GH micro, veg, and flowering 3-part system, augmented with GH vegan compost tea, and GH cal-mag with the occasional H202
Water: tap run thru a small boy filter, 80 ppm and ph'd to 6.0
Medium: seeds into RapidRooters, then into Hydroton

So guys, that's it. The boil down of my setup and ingredients. I'll post later about the solutions PPM and PH and so on and so forth. Hope this helps to better understand what's going on here. Happy growing! :gthumb:

good job of planning hydro, looking forward to watching the grow.:peace:

Hydro, that bag of Exhale is a noticable diff.?have you tried those CO2 hanging mats?Im looking at that Exhale bag(s) now to help it move through its lovely life cycle just a wee bit better.

@ The Dude,
No, I haven't tried the hanging mats. Actually, I've never even heard of them. But, about the Exhale, for $40, its perfect for my 4x4 tent and lasts for two grows. I think it's the greatest, but also, my opinion is biased because I haven't tried anything else. I just know that I'm not into the tanks and pumps and those other more expensive and complicated setups.

Week 2

Week 2 has finally past. I had a huge problem the first three days with what I'm guessing was too much nutes. The pictures show my critical jack in critical condition with a lot of leaf margin burnt and yellow. One of my purples has some yellowing on its first set of leaves. The diesel ryder is actually doing the best. My solution to the nute burn was the only right one....dump all the solution and start over. I was running a scary 900ppm :jaw: but now am pushing only 450 ppm. So, that's it for now. Anyone think that these pictures show another problem other than nute burn? Happy smoking :joint:
