Now going on day 5 of drying and the stems are still very bendable to where you couldn't snap them but i successfully transported the bud in a paper bag filled with shredded packing paper and she did fine! hopefully in the next two days or so it'll dry up nicely so i can get some buds into a jar to start the curing process...as it sits now in my closet hanging the i have an RH49% and temp at 72F. Are those conditions fine for drying or is there something i should change?

AS far as I know that is just about perfect man. It's a day of drying for every 10% of rh, plus one day. 50% rh is said to be a superb dry of six days. 5 days for each of the 10% of the 50% rh plus one day, so 6 days. And 72 is nice and cool.

Ya thats what i was thinkin idk i can never be too sure just wasnt positive if 72F was too low and might get mold or something along those lines lol but ya tomorrow will be the sixth day and hopefully by the end of tomaro the stems will be a little more breakable then ill just throw them in jars. ive heard different things about throwing some orange peels in the jar while curing will give it a citrus smell n taste not sure just heard of it but i might throw a little nug in a jar with some orange peels just to see what happens haha

Dried for 6 and a half days and now into jars for curing. Just put the nugs in some air tight mason jars a few hours ago and RH is reading 53% and temps steady between 72-74F. Maybe the hygrometer hasnt had enough time in the jar with the nugs to get an accurate RH % reading cause i know the objective is to get the bud in between 60-65%Rh so i dont think 53% could be an accurate reading but we will see. Anyone have some words of wisdom to share or advice?

I'd say give it a couple hours for that RH to stabalize. The moisture that comes off the bud won't have time to get going right when you put it in there.

i think its the hygrometer i got so i ordered the caliber3 too see if that one will give a better reading because its been curing for about 3 weeks now and i sampled som last night and the stems snap easy n clean but the bud is really sticky and rolled up a cigarillo and this bud is def some creeper stuff cause i was waitin and about 3/4 the way through prob 20-25 minutes into it and it hit me like a brick wall. still think it could be dried a little more probably so we'll see once this caliber3 comes in...has a really cheezy smell to it and weighed in dry at 17 grams so not bad for being an experiment def should be able to pull a solid ounce off the next plant(s) i grow. Got the full general organics line of nutes so this time ill be able to feed unlike this easyryder where i just put it in ffof and watered lol.
