Mephisto Genetics DWC Orange Biscuits (NEW TESTERS) (2 tents, 2 plants)

No no, I literally unplugged the air supply and left her to die with a view to chopping and binning her. It was only then she started to turn round, strange!
Aaahh, that is strange. My strangest dwc encounter was a huge bin of maxigro that wasn't properly mixed. That, along with god knows what, caused a bunch of plants including a dwc zkittlez to start shutting down then it turned itself around the smoke was great but no pistils ever formed.
The lesson i learned was don't buy cannabis nutes in bulk containers even if it's cheaper

Gotta love the strangeness! :pass: :smokeout:

Both seeds sprouted and orienting in rooters
Here are the seeds cracking their husks and begining to orient themselves in the rooters. They are now tucked away until they sprout.
I made sure to soak the hydroton around the rooters and then the rooters themselves to make sure the seeds stay moist.

Reoriented seed #1, taproot disorientation
Everything is going well.
Seeda flipped themselves a bit and are going twirled in the rapid rooter. Seed #2 began having it's taproot begin to grow up into the light. I was able to catch it fast and do minor surgery saving the complete taproot and turning it right side up into the rapid rooter without issues.

Seed#1 (still twirly but should spring up and bite into the rooter perfectly in the next day)

Seed #2 (the one i flipped the root)
Pre taproot flip it was ever so slightly grown into the rooter

Tucked away for sprout (if it doesn't work well i will replace it with another seed), i will need to watch the seed closely. But i caught it in time

Seeds are looking good. Both are kind of above surface and I'd call it day 0, so not above ground but kind of. Seed #2 i had reorient again. I noticed the part of the root i rearranged did not keep alive but died back. The rest of the tap root looks fine so i reoriented it and will see how it grows over the next few days. I don't think it'll be a huge problem, but i may toss it into a small pot if it doesn't stay up to par after about a week. If so, i have the choice of starting another orange biscuits or doing another tester, or a backup plan which is one I would imagine MANY are still really interested in seeing grown in DWC

Seed #1 a bit twirled but happy and popped up

The sprout of seed #2
I may throw the seed into some soil

Both plants in dwc with the third middle bubble bucket ready for me to plant a third plant. Ad i stated, I have another back up seed for orange biscuits and 2 other strains to run through yet.

Day 1 seed #1 and seed #2
Today is day 1 for seed #1 and seed #2 made sure to give them some water around the hydroton and the rapid rooter (i have well water). I plan on doing this every 8-12 hours for the first 48 hours.

Seed #1 day 5, seed #2 culled, seed #3 planted
I culled seed #2 yesterday as it did not have any advancement and i am glad i did. The taproot had not grown any and was showing signs of rot.
I planted another orange Biscuits seed (seed #3) late night last night and expect it to poke above the router by Saturday.

I will be starting one more plant but will be doing that in either a separate journal or may just have it make some random side appearances in this journal as i need something fast for a turn around. I will probably grow my old stand by of sour crack in dwc for a quick 60-100 grams in a 60-65 day turn around. That plant will not effect the outcome of either of these orange Biscuits.

Seed #1 Day 7, seed #3 day 1
Today is day 7 for seed 1 and seed 3 popped above the rooter today without any issues noted.

I expect seed 1 to take about 5 more days for its roots to hit water due to the disoriented tap root so i am continuing to feed it directly from the hydroton for the time being as it continues reaching for the res.

Seed 3 looks like she will grow fast and be a good one.

Seed 1 day 7 (to get very technical if you go by how the seed should have sprouted it's only really 2 days younger than counted so it could be counted as day 5/6 vs 7)
