Oh I have a must fir you. It's Liquid mycorrhizae! Orca is the brand and it's the tits! There are two types of mycorrhizae endomycorrhizae and ectomycorrhizae. The powder stuff like Great white requires it to bond or adhere to the root crown where as the orca is liquid and can be absorbed by all of the roots

@derek420colorado hes got a 10 litre bucket not 10 gallon. So prob only 2 gallon usuable space. 50 lph would blow the lid off her

an explosion is exactly what im hoping for mate! as long as the dwc stays as small as i hope then im fairly confident ive got just enough space with a baw hair to spare. had the last nft bang in the middle of the tent so the bush looked bigger than it was. theyll be tied down as low as i can keep them for a nice even canopy. worse case scenario i run out of space and have to take the small one out and put it somewhere else under a cfl. be a drama free grow this time man. ive learned my lessons.... hopefully :smoking:

got 2 more packages to turn up, both hopefully today. germination begins the minuit they arrive. ahahhah im like a kid a christmas again! i love this feeling haha. never doing a perpetual grow or id miss this moment every few months!

well troops, the preps going well and 2 of 3 seeds are in to germ so thought id explain a bit about my methods at this point. a lot of people (including myself) make some schoolboy errors about now.

to germinate, i simply...

put the seeds into root riots

put a glass over them

sort of seal the bottom round with a bit of tin foil to make it look scientific

leave them on the window ledge

thats it.

no water, no farting about with anything else. just keep it simple : ) right now its 6-10*c at night and 10-16*c most days. very occasionally up to 19-22*c.
so far ive managed 4/4 weed seeds this way and 2/2 apparently difficult to germinate, 'trinidad moruga scorpion' chillies.

haha that doesnt surprise me mate . beast mode is well and truly activated though. ive got high hopes and high spirits.! lets grow some monsters!

right. to continue from last night. prep wise this is a very crucial stage.
ive used cultylene the last 4 plants and regardless of how much i washed them, they still spiked up to ph7.8+ and stunted the poor plants inside them. so, this time i have chased the bats out my wallet and grudgingly paid the extra money for grodans. had a practice with them and the spikes nowhere near as bad. they are currently soaking in a bucket of tap water wich has been aired to remove any chlorine and ph'd down to 5.5. they will be put into a fresh bucket every 12-18 hours untill the seedlings are ready. this is excessive but the ph spike really does my head in and im determined to avoid it. the aim is to keep the plants in the grodans for a week or so to develop a decent root structure before going into the nft.
the final drench for the grodans will consist of
dutch pro- take root
ionic- hydro grow
brassinolide (a growth hormone)
at around 100ppm.
the clay pebbles used in the dwc will recieve the same treatment.
not cleaning you medium properly WILL knacker your plants. if you want it green then keep it clean!

almost got the tent finished. shits starting to get real now. realising just how chaotic this is gonna get if it all goes right. i may have to buy another small tent me thinks : )
