DWC Help Required - PH/PPM Increasing!!

Well you are not going to get the nitrogen you need in veg by using bloom nutrients period! So there is no way to get enough nitrogen without causing lock-outs of K, Mg, Fe,Mn, Zn, and/or Cu.

I and others generally follow TaNg's all AN pH Perfect Bloom from sprouting to harvest regimen with consistent good results and without N deficiencies or lock-outs. The regimen, which does not include messing with the 1:1 ratio of parts A and B, appears to have earned a good reputation, including simplicity, lack of problems. So I see exceptions to this statement. And aren't single-use nutes, like 1-part MegaCrop, essentially bloom nutes?

It is my understanding that he just bypasses the PH Perfect Grow product?

I doubt that General Hydroponics MaxiBloom is on par with Advanced Nutrients PH Perfect Bloom. TaNg adds extra N with the cal-mag Egrow, has too much calcium carbonate already and he has a nitrogen deficiency so how would you fix this?

Regarding the TaNg's regimen, it's base nutes are the AN Bloom nutes. I don't recall about veg phase supplements, other than that some growers don't use any and do well. In my use, if a plant looks needy for more N, it usually just gets more feed (the bloom nutes; and N foliar feeding if really needed). Using the regimen, I mostly see any signs of N deficiency or other problems in early-mid bloom, not veg. Plants grown in soil have no problems dealing with more P and K being available during vegetative growth than actually needed, at levels sufficient to support bloom. Also, in my last grow I used AN pH Perfect Connoisseur Coco Bloom A&B from sprouting through harvest without adding any calcium or magnesium, with this coco formulation supplemented with Ca and Mg but still being mainstream bloom nutrients.

The point is that that for its users bloom base nutes without significant supplementation from sprouting through harvest generally works rather well (depending on the specific nutes, with most regimens using a version of AN pH Perfect Bloom). Plus many do well using 1-part MegaCrop, which could be considered a bloom base nute.

I get what you are saying and my comments were not directed to you and Tangs SOIL grow schedule. It is/was a very specific comment to this DWC hydro grow. @EroGrow needs to get more N (I believe, he still has not shown pictures and could be anything). Adding more MaxiBloom is not going to work as it is too heavy P-K. He could just buy some NPK Industries Nitrogen but why If he needs to buy something it makes the most sense to buy the MaxiGrow.

Finally got caught up in my real life. Yes I would agree that Mega Crop 3.0 is leaning bloom now for sure. I think this is in response to the growers here complaining about 1.0 - 2.0 versions having too much N.

Mega Crop 3.0 is 9-6-17 and close to my week seven Photoperiod feed chart.I am running the 2 part that makes this possible.

First 9 Days
11-5-10 NPK
Week 3 & 4
12-5-10 NPK
Week 5 & 6
10-7-13 NPK
Week 7
9-7-15 NPK
Week 8
8-9-18 NPK
Week 9+
8-9-18 NPK

What I am doing is almost the opposite of TaNg. Hydro is a different animal.

I guess we are seeing the adaptability of our plants and nutes. The plants can often take what they need from what's available, whether the proportions and concentrations are fully optimized for that growth phase or not. And the quality of many base nutes helps, with better chelated nutes allowing availability over a wider pH and/or the nutes self-buffered to some extent.
