Indoor Duurty Magic: A Dragon Tale

Thanks fellas!

We're on day 13 today and I've started training. Not sure about the scrog because I'll be moving soonish and it would be easier to take each plant individually rather than mess with a one piece 5 plant scrog. Still gonna flatten them out for best results under the t5.
Before the bend...

Gonna give some more thought to how to flatten these things, maybe a half scrog screen for each one?

So we getting a bit further from the seed here, day 18 and still keeping them tied down. It's been hard, the stems are so chunky and tight, I'm worried about breaking them like celery sticks! All are looking very happy in their nests. Humidity has been consistently over 55 percent, with periods up to 75. Gave a very light dose of feather tea a couple days ago. I think they are also starting to grab a hold of the super soil near the bottom, very lush.

This one looks like it's about to bust out pretty quick.

Hey there peeps! :bighug:
Sorry it's been over a week since the last update, trying to buy a house and it's rough here in Colorado, everyone wants to move here now and it's jacking up the real estate prices, it's a feeding frenzy! :holymoly:

Anyway the little uns are not as little anymore, showed sex about 8 days ago, and are starting to flower as of the 17th. We're on day 26 now. There was at least one hermie in the mix too, number 4, wasn't sure if it might just be a couple male flowers that wouldn't keep showing later on, but it's a full fledged man-lady with hairy balls! There is another suspect plant, number 3, which looks to have a stamen or two inside some of its calyxes... we'll see soon I suppose.

Not to much else to report, gonna chop my blueberry scrog on monday so I'll have the whole tent for the remainder of the autos which will be under 1000 watts of HPS @ 20 HR per day.

Thanks for stopping by! :snow3:

Man ive gotta say, those are looking impressive!! it looks like the training is really gonna pay off !!

Looking great man.

It will be cool to see what training does and how mine perform wothout it.
Yeah I haven't let a plant do what it wants since early summer outdoors, even in the sun with plenty of penetration the buds were still less dense down low. That being said I have slacked on training these since the last update, got busy with the holidays and just made sure they were wet in between shopping and visiting trips. I will still pull them over again this afternoon so I can get some more penetration. :joy:

It seems to usually make for better buds for sure, unfortunately I got sidetracked (lazy) and failed to flatten them completely as planned. :sadcry:

So we are on day 37 and flowering nicely, still haven't pulled number 3 but it definitely seems there is weirdness going on. The preflowers near the main stem are popping seeds out of them but have completely white and fresh pistils still attached like the we're pre pollinated inside the calyx before it even grew a pistil. There are also no visible stamens anywhere on the plant as of the last going over and no pollination of any other plants or flowers. I will leave it unless there is an obvious stamen showing. They have been under the 1000 watt hps for 3 days now, I just lowered the light a few more inches this morning, well see if they think that's ok when I get home.

There was some nitrogen overload on 2 of the plants (claw leaves) from an ambitious feeding considering the bottom half of the pot has super soil in it, but I thought it might be able to handle a bit less than half strength. Apparently the more indica leaning structures couldn't take the extra which seems about right, only gonna be water for a couple weeks now, then we'll see about some bloom nutes.

Got a bit of burn from it stretching into the t5.

Thanks for stopping by everyone! :dragon5:

:grump:

So I have some bad news, my remaining plants are all completely seeded. They are covered in fresh white hairs and are still somehow 100% knocked up. It seems we have stamens emerging from within and bypassing the pistils or some weirdness... gonna chop em all today and start fresh with my next project. I really hope it was something I did but if it was, it was a very minor stress like slight overfeeding or too dry when the humidifier ran empty... I will continue to watch the others grows to see their outcome. Can't win em all I guess, thanks all for checking it out.

Believe it or not there is definitely a seed beneath each set of pistils in these shots, I wiped the pistils off and there are seeds of different sizes bulging the calyxes already, I mean like 1/3 formed! I looked hard for a calyx without a seed but to no avail. As far as a percentage I would say the pistils are nearly 99.5% fresh looking and white across all the plants. I wanna know how this happens!

Of course I fed them before noticing how screwed they were, I guess this is the last supper pic, sorry I didn't line them all up on the other side if a table...

I guess that'll be the last pics I throw on here, sorry for the outcome @AutoBeanStalk, hopefully I can help out again sometime soon when I get my new, much larger grow space in a new house.

Thanks for dropping in!
