Just a few new pics, starting to look a bit better now with less clawing of the leaves. Will need to tie that branch in the middle out to the side when it gets a bit taller (it thinks it's the apical bud now and is trying to run the show)

You have plenty of bud sites showing now, and your girls are looking great. Keep them nice and close to the light and you are in for a real treat.

Hi guys. At week 5 now so the half way mark. She has bud sites all over and they are now starting to swell, I expect I will see a bit more more vertical growth but not much, its gonna start packing on the weight now and hopefully will fill out nicely, I have LST'd this TD very heavily so that is the reason for the shortness, I believe it would have got close to Seymours grow (height-wise not weight lol) had I not molseted her, how it will translate to bud growth....Time will tell.

Other than that nothing to report, feeding her around 3-4L of water every 2 days or so ( I go by weight of the container for a watering guide) and am adding 3-4ml / L of Biobizz topmax to the water. As of yet no smell.....like even less than my Blueberry, no complaints with the no smell, that is an added bonus in my opnion, however when she starts to fatten up that may be another story.

Just a few pics, did not take many she is hard to photograph at the mo with the mass of leaves, I am sure next week she will have her best dress on

:ladies:

you have made a good job of the LST. The idea is to stop one dominant cola dictating the lamp hight for all the other bud sites

Just keep the 250w as close as reasonable and make sure she doesn't get overwatered, she looks good. Keep doing your best to work out how far you can push the feed, and if in doubt keep it on the low side. You have done the hard part well, nest is the most rewarding part, enjoy her man

Hey thanks for the advice Tony, I was wondering about light distance this time around, with my Blueberry I could have her pretty much touching the cooltube without seeing too much reaction, but with the TD she really gets sun bleached on the leaves if that close. I have raised her again (from being about 30cm away) so that most of the tops are about 10 cm away, I took a mental snapshot of how she looks this morning and will see how she is this afternoon, just a matter of trying to find that Goldilocks zone ;) as for the watering I have got into the rhythm of that and can sort of tell when she wants watering from weight and kinda just looking....I am sure you know what I mean. It would be easy to mess it up from here if you kept the plant too far from the light especially at this stage when she is starting to put on weight.

good work man, keep those bud points as equidistant as you can from the 250. I have seen people grow cola's at 45 degree angles and get extra bud along the length of the cola as a result of the extra light hitting lower down. You will be the best person to judge how to do it , and dont worry about having tons of tied branches. It may not look elegant but if you get it right you will see substantial extra production simply by maximising the amount across all the budding points.

"I have seen people grow cola's at 45 degree angles and get extra bud along the length of the cola as a result of the extra light hitting lower down"

This is my thinking too Tony. I have my branches nowhere near 45 degrees but they are positioned to maximize light collection. I used to be involved in the wine industry and am treating the buds as I would grapes, we utilised a U trellis system and split the plant in two having two main branches and then training along a horizontal wire, that way the plant is able to produce many more bud sites or in this case grapes. This school of thought seems to translate well for cannabis and I have once again removed a few smaller branches and bud sites and a few leaves from the middle of the plant to ensure the main circle of buds are getting all of the available light.

I know I said I would not remove any leaves or branches but I could not help myself.....A lot of ppl say to leave everything on and just tuck the leaves away (tucking them away is a pain in the arse) but I just feel it is right to open it up a little. If I had 600 watts this would not be a problem as the light saturation would be much higher than with a 250 watt in a cooltube.

Anyway here is a few pics at day 41, Seymour had pics up at day 41 too so you guys can make a comparison at this stage between the different method, cultures and lighting. I think for 250 watts she is doing well however you can clearly see that Seymour has much fatter bud development, keep in mind though comparing anything to seymours grow is like comparing a donkey to a thoroughbred :D

{as a side note I have upped biobizzz topmax to 5ml/L the max dosage recommended}

looooking goood!!

keep it up bro, she is definatly gonna be a good yeilder:D

peace..:peace:

looking really good fella and its really nice to see that your using my grow as a guideline and using my pics to compare against, ill be interested to see how yours looks on day 45 compared to mine ;)

that plant in the pic was grown under 300 watts up untill day 40 then i removed 1 of the plants and gave her the full 600 watts from both panels to finish off, if i remember correctly its about this time that her appetite went into overdrive , dont be affraid to feed her as she can take big meals and if your going for a big harvest you dont want to starve her, im looking forward to you end results, you should check out my bluberry grow and see how she compares to yours using only 150 watts on each plant

all the best mate
