Dutch Passion Dutch Passion 'AutoX' test grow (soil, CO2, ScrOG, LED/HPS combo)

I might be able to keep them going. The little one might pick up and grow quicker, the pH in it's bucket is 6.3 :) Gave it some Root Juice and Formulex today as well.

As for the other one, I gave it a feeding and mixed some lime in with it again to increase the pH of the new soil. I was ready to pull it, but thankfully only about 4 leaves were affected and none of the newer growth is. Gonna see how it goes! :)

Day 20 & day 14 update

Good news! The bigger plant has thankfully recovered and is growing fine now, seeing some new growth and it's all lush and green :) The second one is looking just like the first one did before the soil interfered with it. I'm keeping them both going despite receiving my new soil.
The pH on the little one's pot is at a pH perfect 6.5! That one has become the most promising one. The bigger one has a pH of 6.4, so everything is going grand! It should go up to pH 6.5 by the next watering, so my pH problems are sorted at least! I'll be cutting off those yellow, dying leaves when it's grown up a little bit. The white bits on the plant is just dolomite lime, I'll brush it off soon :) It's not mildew or anything like that xD

Started feeding them both grow solution now as well.
Oh and also, I just noticed the bigger one has thrown it's first pistils! We've got a female over here! Have a look in picture 3 near the top :)

Yeah, definitely Tony. I was quite disheartened when I thought my plant was close to dying, but thankfully damage was minimal. I feel much better now I don't need to add another 3 weeks to my harvest time :p
I'm not sure if they're stunted or if they're just not as fast a grower as the Think Different. Any ideas?

yo billy, they look a little stunted but have time to get going still. It should be a few full jars so dont worry man. Remember the soil wont need too much watering at this stage, keep it light and loose for them. And good luck with the rest Billy, looking good man

Yeah I think it should be smooth sailing from here on out. The grow started off great and yet again the soil spoiled it. Now that the pH is sorted on both plants, I shouldn't have to worry about that as much :) I'm hoping to get everything perfect from here on out, I really want another showcase worthy plant (or two!). I want to look at them and think "wow... I did that" and for people to think "crikey, he grew that" :D I'm very fussy and I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

Glad to see things are getting ironed out Billy... They do look a bit stunted but if you keep them happy from now on they'll take off bro.. Good luck :wiz:

Glad u stuck it out and turned them around Billy! You got plenty of time to grow them big!

If you are lucky you will have some stunted girl that will become a 100d+ tree :D
