Hello again everyone :tiphat:
Welcome to my new grow, I have some brand new Auto's from Dutch Passion to try out.
I think so far they have not been released. There not showing on the Dutch Passion website yet anyway.

So we have AutoSkunk and AutoKush in the special white packs.
I like the white packaging, reminds me of buying pre-production white label vinyl back in the day
You know as much as me about what they might turn out like. That said these are Dutch Passion seeds, so there aint much to worry about

I also have a few AutoBlueberry to try and might sneak in another AutoUltimate for good measure.
My last grow with AutoUltimate was fantastic and the buds are sooooo lovely now they have had a good cure :smoke:

My room has had a few tweaks and upgrades since last time.
Out with the soil and in with my new Alien RDWC Pro for starters.
This is my first time with RDWC so should be interesting :slaps:

Im saying right now at the start, I know zero about RDWC. I have done hydro before using NFT, although this was over 15 years ago.
If you know less than nothing its probably double what I know right now :)
So from the off please do shout up and views, opinion and how to's...
This grow could go really really wrong, Im here trying though and Im going to give it my best shot.

Good luck bro...should be awesome.. :Sharing One:

everytime I see RWDC I think of Run What You Brung.so im lost, but il sure as hell watch.

My next few posts will cover my set up.
First up is my water, Im using a DI Resin filter. These can easily be found on ebay.
I went for this over a Reverse Osmosis filter because there is no loss of pressure at all.
This saves lots of time over an RO filter systems when filling up massive water tanks.

Basically you buy this air tank looking vessel and fill it with di resin, the resin looks like sand.
There is a click on hose connector in and out of the vessel and thats all there is to it.
Using this produces water with a zero EC or PPM. Apparently the resin last for X thousands of litres and then slowly starts increasing the EC again as it degrades.
Then you simply tip out the resin, buy some more and off you go again.

Ive gone for a 500 litre water tank in my room. I was using a 200l tank but I was always pissing about filling it up.
This grow is all about labour saving and making things easy in the long run :)

Inside the water tank Ive got a monster Norres Pro2 Air Membrane Disc Diffuser. Its the size of a bus steering wheel :)
This is hooked up to a Hiblow XP40 and pours out the bubbles its crazy see my picture below when I tested it in a dustbin.

My room is insulated with 50mm Kings Span on the walls, floor and ceiling, then everything is ply lined. Most of this has been painted in mat white paint. The top half of my room is then being lined in 10mm sound proof rubber and then egg box shape sound proof foam over the top of this.
This should help reduce the noise bouncing round and traveling out.

Next up is my new Alien RDWC Pro system, Ive gone for the Pro version with 4" pipe work to keep the recirculating flow bang on and chosen the 55l pots.
Ive had a dummy run through and set this up briefly, then packed it all away while the room upgrades were going on.
Ive got a few more jobs to finish, then out she comes to play :)

This is how it arrived
Its actually a real Alien

Here's a picture from the Alien website of there 55l pot RDWC Pro.
Ive gone for 1m spacing similar to this, should be plenty of room for some monster trees :)

Im sticking with my stunning ePapillon 1000w digital adjustable lights. Im really pleased with these so far, being adjustable is great if it turns warm and the power and spread of light is amazing.

New though in my room this time round is some T5 side lights.
Ive gone for the large 8 tube unit and these are going to be mounted on the walls.
As standard they come with blue white bulbs but you can get a red bulb more suitable for flowering.
Ive swapped out half the blue white for red and so get a good mix of both.

This is not proven so dont go running off and copying me just yet.
Or not proven to me anyway. I just figure some extra light on the sides can only help, right?

Ive got a 12" Iso Max AirForce inlet fan and this now has a filter box mounted on the inside of my room.
I was running a bug shield on the intake pipe outside my room but this was always clogging and a pain to change.
This internal filter box has a slide out filter and can be changed in seconds.

Im using the higher power 12" Iso Max AirForce fan for my extraction and coupled with this I have a 1200mm Rino carbon filter.
This will be my 4th grow with this filter and so far, so very good. Not even a sniff of weed gets out.

Controlling both in/out fans I have the SMS Hybrid 4amp controller. Again used this on my other grows and it works just perfect.
If it gets too hot, up got the fans and down if it cools. No buzz at all.

Ive got some 1000w wall mounted oil radiators with built in timer for lights off temp control.
Ive bought 8 wall mounted oscillating fans, 4 each side of my room. I know it sounds a lot but get some bud rot in your life and you'll understand :)
Blue Labs Guardian to monitor my temp, EC and PH and Ive gone with House & Garden Nutrients. I will be using there Aqua Flakes range, with Amino, Multi Zyme and a couple of boosters later on.

Thats pretty much it.
All the kit is here, Ive just got to finish off sealing the floor. Get the rest of the sound proofing up and we are good to go.
Standby:thumbs:
