Dutch Passion Dutch Passion announce LED partnership with Grow Northern !

How easy is it to replace one of the fans on the dp ms0006 as one of mine is making an occasional very slight rattling noise and I don't want to have to send it back (despite being under the warranty) as I've just started another grow and can't do without it ( it is bloody brilliant btw).

Any ideas or instructions for replacement and specifically what brand of fan.

Just finished my first grow under these with TD and am very impressed with the results which yielded around 20-25 percent more than under the my old 250w hps but I'm still drying so not weighed up yet.

you really need to dig into the guts of the light to get to the fans, although its not hard at all it just seems a bit daunting, take the face plate off and then remove the 6 modules be carefull not to break any of the leds or optics when removing, there is around 6 screws on each module take those of then there will be a little black connector for the power undo those then you can lift the module off, then you will be looking at your heatsinks, undo the screws holding them onto the sides and you will be able to remove them through the gaps on the side of the light, im sure you will then be able to get to the fans once you have removed the heatsinks. i hope this helps im not too sure about what fan to get but if you contact grow northern then they will most likely send you out a replacement fan if your light is under warranty.

Just a quick update to say that I contacted dp and they kindly sent me a replacement fan along with a handy guide. Silence has now returned

Thanks eddy (if Tony let's u read this).
Ps
only thing was the complimentary 1000 think different seeds seemed to be missing.
