See a lot of you growers topping them bitches.. although I personally would never do that to an auto (because of its reduced lifecycle) I find it fascinating to watch and see them develop!

I was sceptical about topping Autos until I came on AFN... But there have been many monster topped Autos here on AFN, in fact I think its fairly common place on here now, as a global collective... We on AFN rawk!

I do think topping with that level of success comes from the speed in which the autoflower genetics are developing thanks to breeders like yourselves and the level of experience of the guys on here and the fact that everybody shares that knowledge here.... The myth of not topping Autos gets busted on here weekly... I'm sold mate

Hello DP growers....well said @RustyStarbuck72 .. ..I top and train all my autos and usually do pretty well, hopefully I can reinforce Rusty's great post with a good show for everyone....as it happens, I took and edited a pic today trying to show how and why I do what I do to my ladies....I circled the struggling nodes before I cut the big fans and re-tied my Skywalker Haze Auto down, I am trying to show how much more exposure they get when leaves are removed...have a great day everyone....

Good day Growers Update time from me and its a happy tent here at AutoDevil HQ.

Pulled the photography lights in for another shoot of the ladies and today is Day 18 for the Dutch Passion Skywalker Auto. I'm not so great yet at defining Day 1 but the Day I top has always been Day 18 before a growth spurt between days 19 and 26 before first round of LST and microdose of veg feed.

So here's the Skywalker before and after topping

Before she got the Henry VIII beheaded beheaded died beheaded beheaded survived... Sadly this girl was first in line so off with her head.

Next up is the Kerosene Crash with much tighter node spacing as you'd expect from a heavy indica and showing similar characteristics from the off to the Chemdawgs I've grown. She's a few days behind the Skywalker in growth but not far off being topped. After my worry at the start she's now off to a flyer and keeping a smile on AutoDevils face.

Spoken with Mars Hydro on here and purchased direct so 2 x TS1000's are on route again with same courier so next week's update I won't need to bring photography lights in. Taking pictures with HPS on is no fun.

Damn! That's some hardcore lst! I've laid them over like that, but not as quick and not as defoliated. Have you grown the same strain without such radical lst? Just interested in how much time your lst adds until the chop.

I haven't topped any of my girls yet. Yours sure looks like you topped pretty early. At what node did you top? Got pics of of what stage ya topped?
I've grown a couple of girls with big main colas where I'd top them for a SOG.
