Gotta love being impressed with an early sample! Yeah, it’s funny I mentioned 3 years ago in this thread earlier and again in my think big thread. That’s because I gave some Durban Poison and Think Different seeds to a friend to grow for me back then...
Durban's bloom 44. Here all the residents in total of 15-16 liters of coco. 20 days to possible harvest (8,5 weeks). If there is need for more all ok. The smaller in back row goes next, the mystery seed aka Bringer of Sleep.
Bloom 49. Happy grow but bit sad leaves. Buds sparkle is all that matters. Scent upon touch is over ripe pineapple, kind of, weird smell. Rocky buds, hardest of this grow. Good thing there is fan right next to her. I just pour water 7 dl approx. a day and she does her thing

Is the smell from her very loud or “weed” smelling or is it just fruitiness.?I also wanted to see how the old Master Kush smells while growing.?I have heard she is kinda low odor while growing unless disturbed.I have wanted to grow Durban for years and if she is not too loud I think I will go for it.I love African genetics .I am growing a NL x Malawi autoflower right now and have a photo Panama x Malawi for a future grow maybe even outdoors.Nice job friend!!
When i grew a durban i got a fruity licorice smell(anise). Quite unique!
Thank you! Always easy grow with Dutch Passion. She was loudest in veg/early flower, actually. Not straight up weed but right nose would know what's going on. Now in bloom more subtle, also more apparent. Although there is a BF Red Diesel there too mixing up the bouquet. Zippers tight, lights and fan shut down and Ona gel open, room door closed, no one has suspected a thing. With one DP.
From my grows most pungent (1-10) was Sugar black rose (10), DP Masterkush lowest (2) and this Durban 7. Some of my MK might have suffered and moved around during grow and no increase in odor. Also clones well. For discreet sativa I'd do Kalichakra (4).
I've been drooling! Lowest trim (45 days mature) already had nice effect. 8,5 weeks seem bit long at this point. 2 more weeks total. Not that much on the other hand. I've lost the sense of time (red diesel

Oh damn, so it seems. I had to count and still found 14 Kali seeds. Something to breed more should 1 of them be male.
Durban Poison, I do not dare to move her for better light. Some branch would snap for sure. Drinking has slowed down.
