New Grower Dumb question

I'm collecting some too. From the little bit of reading I've done, it seems to be okay to use. Filter it of course to remove the leaves and other particulate and do a ppm reading on it. I've only read about hyrdo setups, but if it's okay for that I don't see why it wouldn't be okay for soil. I'm sure someone more experienced can chime in and set the record straight for us.

AS long as your not getting your rain water in industrial China, you should be ready to go. It may depend on where you are though IF you are in an area with high pollution like LA. It also depends on how you are collecting it. If it's from the room, is there anything that be harmful like Copper, etc?

Rainwater is fantastic, that's all I use. Great for soil and plants, can contain small amounts of trace elements, is usually perfect pH (unless you live a super polluted area) and best of all it's free! You can try to test ppm of it but its pointless, it's as pure as you will find it (although I have tested the ppm lmao).
