dub, how far away do you keep your magnums from seedlings?, from young plants?, and from mature plants? btw i love the specs on the magnums
but i could not afford one. thats why i bought the chrome six spot, seemed to be close to the magnum+ in most feature's, the one i like best on the mag is switching to blue spectrum:buds:thank mate!

Astro I keep my magnum 20-24" away when they are seedlings but they do spend most of there first 5 weeks on a 2 day blue spectrum and 1 day full spectrum rotation. Anytime after week 4 16-20" is ideal and now at week 7 they are for the most part 12-16" away on full spectrum from here on out. The chromes look like a nice light bro but lacking in spectrums and spectrum control would be a deal breaker for me. Also I saw some people not liking the chrome over the standard blackstar but I will warn you since the chrome has a higher par output there will be different needs for the plants. They will more than likely need more nutes in general and more cal/mag because of the increased par. My girls were on half strength by week 2 and every one is at 3/4 strength now to keep signs of under feeding away which most people mis diagnose as deficiences my friend :thumbs: Hope that helps my friend :smokebuds:

yes brother it does help! yes i do understand about the higher par requirements! thats why i decided to grow more atmosphere, because i have more expeirence with the strain. and the seeds are some that i grew, witch will be a first for me! as far as the blue spectrum they will be getting it from the cfl's @6500k a small learning curve with the new light, but half of that battle is to know the curve is there! thank you for your help!my appalachian

Anytime my friend :thumbs: Looks like we need to batten down the hatches for this perfect storm ready to slam the east coast. If it hits near Delaware we are looking at feet of snow here so time to get gas and make sure the generators are in working order. They say if it hits in New York instead of Delaware, New York City could be under 6 feet of water and billions of dollars in damage.
