Lighting DubV Tent Grows

Seems I'm going the opposite way to most people with LEDs, my first lights had 5w chips, the ones I'm rockin now have 3w and I'm getting some upgrades in the next few weeks that have the Philips Lumiled 1w chips lol Dub I think in a few years we will be gettin 3 grams pet watt.

@ Swampman I can switch between just blue and Uv spectrums to all spectrums to red and Uv only.

@ J Tang I know what you mean bro :thumbs: I don't even know if led is totally the future yet. Induction and plasma have a path to run yet too. I think I could pull 3 grams a watt with photos my friend :smokebuds:

I had 3 different phenos dude 2 are ok but one is proper cheese,something I have been craving for the last 12 months since I started growing. Got some good yields too,pulled one at 10 weeks and got 51g and the oner 2 went to week 13 and I got 78g and 85g. All 3 needed scaffold lol and the biggest one even broke 2 branches under her weight.

I asked an led producer on here 3 times how his adjustable leds faired against plasma they refused to answer the question says allot .

Leds are still not quite there yet according ed rosenthal( botanist ) I have seen well over 2g+ per watt (hydro etc..) on hps on boards so if leds is a 33-50% better some producers claim 100%-200% (like saying a 180w black star is better than a 600w hps) or even more but wheres the 3-6g per watt grows.


According to the info just red and just blue might be to restrictive like minerals in a diet a small amount of other spectrum could be needed. To answer another q on here why would you want to change the spectrum of plasma its pretty much the closest to sunlight bar none

all fantastic lights! plasma, magnum+, solor flare, even the humble blackstar! the problem for me is...the$$$$$! unfortunatly i am on a fixed income, and get the one that has the best bang for the small dollars!:buds:
