Ok got my first bump in the road with this grow! Was checking for preflowers and what do I find! My fem hbd dropped nuts last night! Oh well, he will be transplanted into a smaller pot and moved to another room to collect pollen! There are no signs of hermaphrodite just straight male pollen sacks so I believe this is viable pollen to breed. Wasn't looking to start breeding until a little later this year but oh well I will roll with the punches. Another hbd will be dropped tonight since this strain is a major part of my medical treatment!
Ok after a full inspection it looks like the HBD was the only male! The g13 auto Ak and Dr. Feelgood haven't shown sex yet but all others are females except for the crosses which have 3 more weeks before they show. Going to transplant and move the male now and it seems to be a true male with no female signs at all...
Now after my little nut dropping incident! I had to do some quick transplanting and put one more in the tent. The male hbd has been replaced with Auto Assassin x speedy gonzales in a 1.2 gallon airpot. I said yesterday I was going to cap the tent at 17 but I changed my mind like the crazy old bastard I am So 5 more strains have been dropped to germ! I dropped another hbd, critical jack, bubbliscious, and two more crosses I have been privileged to test from my good friend Rebel. These are pineapple express x speedy gonzales and flash Babylon x speedy gonzales. Let the stress begin!
Ahhhhhh damn. I wish I had all that going on right now and two or three months vacation. I would just live in that tent! Oh Dub... good things happening here!
Sounds like a good plan Dub. No male and loads of female karma your Way
Bro. Also some fresh germ karma to boot when's your next
Photo update? Looking forward to it :booya:
Thanks Captain and Noods! I will be updating again probably Friday. I had to run out and get a floor fan since my pots aren't drying fast enough! The girls are showing signs of being hungry already. So I am bumping them to half strength and crossing my fingers they can handle it! Also I want to throw tons of thanks to my brother Jackal for all his help with these new nutes!
Temps range 70-80 and humidity 40-45% bro.. These 3.4 gallon airpots are huge so I need more airflow around the base of the tent. I reconfigured my passive intake to my floor vent fully open and fan between 50-70% speed. Put a bigger floor fan directly by the intake and this should fix my airflow across all the pots. I just make sure to keep direct breeze off the younglings for a week or so. Constant adjustments needed with environmental changes especially in spring with wild temperature and humidity swings! I try to keep them as constant as possible but its a lot of work. I have a remote temperature and humidity sensor in with the plants so I can rapidly respond if needed.
