Indoor Drip feeding

Hi Guys
just ordered a drip feed set up/just wondering if you give the plants a watering first or just kick straight in with the drip feed.
all advice will be welcome.

im intrested in a good drip feed system ...post a pic or link......................and im not sure but id just let the drip feed drip...and if the plants look thirsty...water a little
