right got my rockwool in its final soak now.
10L bucket containing
2ml/L ionic hydro grow(rd 7ml\L)
0.2ml/L root boost (rd 0.5-1.0 ml/L)
001ppm growth hormone (adults take 5ppm)
total of 350ppm
all phd down to 5.3
lets see if all this avoids the big nasty ph jump after transplant that knackered my a/u for a fortnight. fingers crossed.

came frighteningly close to blowing my only pump and realising how much of a fanny i am for not having a spare one but fuck it. cant win them all eh. well happy with myself like.i wouldnt be saying that without the help from all of you guys but im really just so chuffed its awesome. feels like a big milestone. cant believe how much theyre drinking. aww they take after their daddy

cheers @archie gemmill. really happy chappy today like. only had to ph down the res once in maybe ten days, thats always been at max 3 days and got them feeding perfectly at a steady 1300-1400ppm. need to get a proper bud builder but cant bring myself to spend more money on atami products and dont want to mix brands. i may just bight the bullet. would anyone be able to give me advice on that actually? whos good with nutrients that wouldnt mind sparing me few tokes? any recomendations folks? id really rather get something better than what im using. schoolboy error on that one. as always. help will be rewarded with gratitude in the form of virtual high fives, and a dancing, yellow, cock out space pig : ) ........

wee bud update today.
starting to feel pretty confident about getting a decent yield now. just about every top is budding up down to about 6" from the base of the plant. starting to look like its just gonna be one big ball of smokeable goodness. got pretty much full control over humidity at the moment aswell so no worries of bud rot etc. frosting up nicely too. the smell is really familar but i cant quite put my finger on it. kinda fruity and dank. my hands smell awesome after i abuse them. i also eat a leave every time i defol and theyre tasting much better. got really bitter and chemically when i switched to bloom nutes but tastes nice and sweet now. the colours also changed slightly, everythings a little bit darker now so ill have another look at my nutes tomorrow. see if its anything to do with that.

well my nft germ practice run isnt going well. this is at least day 10 above ground (that dissapointed im not checking, it might be 13/14 lol). even after all my efforts, the rockwool still went up to ph7.9. had to wait a few days for it to dry out. gave her a quick soak today in 380ppm @ ph4.8 and after 8 hours it was right back up to 7.2.........
and ive just this very second realised its not even fucking rockwool! its cultylene!
aggghhhh the one thing i scrimped on!
done a lot of reading prior and without the boring shit, its supposed to be sturdier than rockwool. so as i was potentially growing monsters i went with that and it was a quarter the price of grodan........
