DP Auto Ultimate 3 Cotyledon

Gday all,

Have just germed my first auto ultimate and have noticed it has 3 cotyledons rather than the usual 2.

I suspect this is some kind of mutation with this seed.

Just wanted some feedback as to whether anyone else has seen this and the plant was still worth growing? If it will yield low I’d rather just get rid of it.

I’ve read some conflicting things as to this is potentially a good thing or a bad thing.

Still chasing some info on the plant on whether it will be worth growing or I should just cull it.

This is it now. Has 3 sets of leaves at the first node, then develops some pretty weird structure.

Has anyone had success with plants like this? Thanks

Def an odd looking plant. I've had a few misshapen/mutated ones back in the day, they tend to never really go anywhere, just stunted weird growth.

Sometimes it can turn into a good thing, but it doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen with that one. Can you start a backup?

Yeh it’s not looking great to me. I’ve just started germinating another one today.
