Barney’s Farm Glue Gelato auto. They get pretty monstrous for an auto

you ran them before. I herd someone sayin they looked up barney farms and they where having lots of hermies. That what he told me anyway. So i kinda stayed away. Never did my own research. They do have some strains Id like to try

There is usually a sweet spot between the light on the scope, and the grow lights. Too much light makes everything blurry. I get the best results, and think it’s easiest to judge ripeness by turning my flower lights off, and leaving some cooler 4000k lights on in the room. I then turn the scope light up all the way, and then slowly dial it down for the best image. Once I find the sweet spot, that’s how I do it until harvest. I don’t change the light setting or the magnification. A tip for folks that are just figuring out their scopes, and getting a handle on what they see: Figure out your light sweet spot, and start checking early when there is no doubt that the trichs are clear. You can get real crisp pics when the trichs are all clear. Take pics and label that for reference to look back at. It will make it easier to say “yep that’s clear, yep that’s cloudy”. Amber is easy, but I don’t go there if I can get the rest of the plant all cloudy before the amber appears. (That’s just my preference, and the test results come back the highest THC).
cheers

Dude there’s tons of Mephisto hermie hype on shit places like Reddit and anywhere else know it alls like to shitpost too. Basically the whole reason I post here and nowhere else. I’m gonna keep my setup optimal at all times and run what I want to without feeding into haters. There’s so many beautiful successful runs out there. Should I run into issues so be it, if all my parameters are optimal then I know to stay away in the future. I’m big on learning from my own mistakes even though I do as much research as I can so I don’t make the same mistakes others have. If I listened to the hype I wouldn’t be running Mephisto either!

Edit: ever notice how it’s the most popular genetics that get hated on? There’s a reason. Barney’s is pretty reputable otherwise I’m not sure why there isn’t a Barney’s sub on here unless there’s something I don’t know. There is a thread with some beautiful plants that are monstrous for autos
