Okay....the vague answer seems more of a secret to me though. It's all good. Not really a secret..just discipline
No not at all.. I was replying to a bunch of things just now. Ok I have a theory and so far it works well ..Okay....the vague answer seems more of a secret to me though. It's all good.

Yes not fully dry but close.. Hahaif you study viticulture you'll find its a similar'ish technique of letting the roots dry to strengthen plants and roots. but with canna its a lil more on the moist side verses fully dry.works in a very similar manner.higher brix throughout the early and mid stages lends to help with this process also.

1 I never ever water my plants 2 days in a row..
Late stages they get water every other day
Early stage every 3 to 4 days..
It makes the roots grow better as they go looking for moisture.. Nothing real special just realizing that over watering kills plants but under watering does not..
hotter soils caustic to plants and roots so keep that in mind as you push the soil and your grows.
Agree I watch my humidity monitors really close and when I do water I use a turkey Baster to get all the way around the pot and it allows me to water slowly so the water soaks in good..hotter soils dry rather are highly caustic to plants. so there is a fine line with pushing grows and using this technique. solid hands down, just words to the wise is all.
