Yeaaaaap. I've had a nice female ratio of around 90% without paying attention to shit really. All I did was water when I felt like I needed to, and feed when I got the feeling. 24/0 until the last week of flower then I time it manually without worrying bout late off times.. it works

Wvr if you wanna see a real trick try this sometime. Take both your lights place them in angle slightly with them facing each other. If your T5 is bright enough the plants should draw to it rather than the hps. That allows the hps to work the sides more and reduces a little time you'd spend training or tucking. That's how it works in my world anyway. I've done this and then rotated the lights so they're more in the position you have now and the plants grow sideways.lol makes it nice getting the bottom buds ripe. Somebody growing commercially probably shouldn't try it with the whole crop at once but hell if you only have 5 or 6 growing its worth a shot.

It's funny you mentioned that because that's pretty much what I'm doing! LOL I have found that to be exactly what they do. I place my taller girls on the outsides and smaller ones more directly under the HPS... Then I do rotate them around and the tops usually do turn towards the T5's. Has worked real well for them.

I transplant every one of my plants. Only time I get stunted ones is when I wait too long to transplant. To me transplanting is llike doing surgery on someone. You gotta be as careful as you can. What I do is fill the pot with soil all around the plant. Note the plant is still in the jiffy pot. Pack the soil tight until it forms around the jiffy pot. Then take the jiffy pot out and you should have a square shape that is the exact same size. Water your female until water is coming out of the bottom of the jiffy pot. Then care turn it upside down and the plant should come out perfecly. Might have to shake it a little to make it come out. Then carefully place the plant in the square shape hole. Then water your new transplanted plant. The advantage of starting them in jiffy pots is you save a ton of space.

just take ya a razor knife and cut the bottom out and set it on top. Lot simpler. Lot less worries about shock and they'll use the space more efficiently. Just an idea.
