Hello everyone. Hope you are all well.
As title says does it matter how long you leave water sitting out? Does it lose o2 or anything?

Havent a clue brother but looking forward to any replies that do. Its not something I'm overly concerned about.. maybe I should be. I mix in lemonade bottles and never put a cap on them tbh!!

i used to do the same myself before i started watering daily used to make up a weeks worth they stink a bit after awhile but i was told thats normal

I have been pouring a big jug and letting it sit for like 2-3 days then pour it in bottle. Just it smells a little stale or something.
Cheers,

I find the PH climbing up again quick enough in leftover water that I do check and adjust it before using again, I'm using white wine vinegar as PH Down though, maybe that has something to do with it :)

Depends what it is if it's just water yeah you could leave it out it will be fine you want to do that if you have chlorine in your water. Can't speak for bottled nutrients but i add sugars and em1 every water banana ffj if I'm in flower and leave it out in the pale over night covered with paper if it's got good bacteria you should be good you don't want to grow bad stuff

Leave my tap water out for 24 hours, its a huge wide plastic tub I let lay in basement sink.....It holds 2.5 gallons

Its long enough for chlorine to evaporate. Then I dose each gallon with citric acid powder (1/8th tsp) to lower the Ph to 6.4 (tap is 7.7 here)

I let my tap water sit in a jug for 24-48 hours with the cap off to dissipate any chlorine.

If you have ph'ed it already i have noticed the ph will drift if you leave the cap off. Same with pre mixed nutes. I always check the ph of mixed nutes before I use them again. I do notice a bigger change in ph with the cap off vs on if it sits for a day or two.

So ph movement is the biggest thing. What about oxygen? Does that deplete? Started, today, to pour it between bottle and a smaller jug about 15-20 times. Probably wasting my time.
I add my nutes a few hours before feeding time.

Gather up some 5L water bottles bro.. the big yokes with the handles.. those and 3L pepsi max bottles are what I use.. depends how much u need per day too suppose if you're gonna leave water out.. I need about 7/8L a day.. I leave the empty bottles out.. the second in command.. aka the missiz.. fills them up and they're left overnight used next day usually.. and repeat
